Consistently more than 3 lakh aspirant appear for CAT exam conducted by IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management). The greater part of candidates fails to clear CAT (Common Admission Test) every year. The main purpose for this failure is the common mistakes. Preparing for CAT exam is not an easy task. Even after thorough preparation, most of the aspirant fails to score higher percentile.


Here are the most common and repetitive mistakes committed by CAT aspirants.

Indian Institute of Management Vishakhapatnam (IIMV)

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur was established by MHRD Government of India in 2015 for providing top class management education and conducting industry research.  Currently the institute functions from temporary campus and will move to new location as soon as same will get ready with adequate classroom and living facilities. The IIM Sambalpur offers flagship Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM). Admissions are based on CAT Score. In the first bath 48 students were found chance to study PGPM in IIM Sambalpur.

Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIM Sirmaur)

The Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIM Sirmaur) was established by MHRD, Government of India. The institute is responsible to nurture best management professionals who can cater to India’s industry in particular and Indian economy in general through their knowledge and skills. The IIM Lucknow is the mentor institute to IIM Sirmaur. Dr. Neelu Rohmetra is the first appointed director to the IIM Sirmaur.
Currently the institute functions from temporary campus of  Himachal Institute of Technology, Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur. The new campus is being build over 210 acres of land area in Dhaula Kuan near Nahan town.

Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIMN)

The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur / IIM Nagpur was established in 2015 by MHRD Government of India for imparting management education and research. Currently the institute offers Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM). Admissions are made on the basis of CAT score. The IIM Ahmedabad is mentor institute to IIM Nagpur. Currently the institute operates from temporary campus in VNIT.
