The Indian Institute of Management Vishakhapatnam (IIMV) also know as IIM Vizag was established by MHRD, Government of India for providing management education and conducting research programs. The IIM Bangalore is the mentor institute to IIM Vizag. Currently flagship Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) is offered based on CAT score. The curriculum is based on Harvard University pattern and classes are delivered case study based.
The IIM Vizag functions from temporary campus of Andhra University. The new campus is being built on Gambheeram Village of Anandapuram Mandal in Vishakhapatnam.
