Eligibility
The minimum qualification for admission is 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject.
Age limit is 22 years for General / PH and 25 years for SC / BC candidates as on 1.7.2008. Candidates belonging to General and Physically Handicapped categories whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 1986 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Caste / Backward Class candidates, upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years. Candidates belonging to SC / BC categories born on or after July 1, 1983 will be eligible.

Eligibility for admission: A pass in H.Sc [10+2 level] [Academic stream] with 50% of marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology [Botany and Zoology] or any other equivalent qualification approved by Annamalai University. For SC/ST: A pass in the above subjects.

Method of Selection: Selection of candidates to the Pharm.D Programme will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the qualifying examination besides an interview.

or in Government Departments, and joined before 28.02.1989, provided
they are eligible for admission to that program as per University rules.

experience in a registered firm/company/industry/educational and/or
research institute/any Government Department or Government

A letter from the employer must be furnished stating that the candidate is
being sponsored to seek admission to the postgraduate degree program.
The employer should also indicate that the candidate will not be withdrawn
midway till the completion of the program. The candidate will be fully
under the administrative control of the institute for the period of the
