Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India has set

up the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technnology which has

been declared as institute of national importance, at par with the

Indian Institute of Technology. RGIPT is co promoted by leading

oil PSUs. From the academic year 2008-09, RGPIT will offer MBA

program in Petroleum and Energy Management at the NOIDA campus and

B.Tech. Degree courses from its Rae Bareli (U.P.) campus.
