Application procedure: Candidates are requested to apply ON-LINE (strictly recommended) for JEST-2010 by visiting the web site http://jest2010.aries.res.in . Course Description: Applications are invited from motivated students, with consistently good academic records, for enrolment in a Ph. D. programme (also Integrated Ph.D. Programme) in Physics (including various interdisciplinary research areas) / Theoretical Computer Science at any of the participating institutions.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following postgraduate degree/diploma courses of Ranchi University and conducted at this Institute, commencing from May 1, 2010.

For Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology: First Class Master’s degree in Psychology regular course Or M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology/ Clinical Psychology of any recognized University, for 3 years and 2 years course respectively.
For M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology: M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology regular course of a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate
For M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work: M.A. in Sociology or Social Work regular course of a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.
For Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing: A’ Grade Certificate or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
Two years experience as Staff Nurse. Application procedure: The application form is to be submitted electronically by internet to CIP website: www.cipranchi.nic.in . and a hard copy of the same application form printed on A4 size bond paper complete in all respect along with a Demand Draft of Rs.400/- for General candidate and Rs.300/ for SC/ST/OBC candidates(non-refundable) in favour of Director, CIP, Ranchi payable at Bank of Baroda, Kanke, Ranchi should reach the Director, Central Institute of Psychiatry, Kanke, Ranchi-834006 (Jharkhand) by December 14, 2009.
The hard copy of the application form must be duly signed by the candidate and his/her photograph pasted in appropriate place. Incomplete applications not accompanied with Demand Draft, attested photocopies of all certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, Caste Certificate/Disability certificate if applicable or applications received after due date , i.e., December 14, 2009, shall not be considered. The admit card and a covering letter having necessary instructions will be made available on the CIP website (www.cipranchi.nic.in ).
The admit card and the covering letter are to be downloaded and printed by the candidates and the same to be brought with them to the examination centre. Examinee will not be allowed to enter the examination hall with any electronic communication gadgets viz. Mobile Phones, Pager etc. Examinees, who come to the examination centre, with any such gadget, he/she has to make his/her own arrangements for keeping these outside the examination centre. This should be strictly complied with.
Candidates applying for both M.D. and D.P.M. and for both Ph.D. (Clinical Psychology) and M.Phil in Medical and Social Psychology courses starting from May 1, 2010 need to submit only one application each. Admission to postgraduate course in Medicine (MD/MS/Diploma) & Dentistry (MDS) for Academic year 2010-11 Eligibility: • Candidate seeking admission to postgraduate Medicine/Dentistry course should hold MBBS /BDS degree of recognized University by MCI/DCI.
• A candidate who has completed one year compulsory rotating internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 31st March 2010 can appear for PIMS-AICET-PG 2010 .
• All such candidates will have to submit the documentary proof, from the Principal / Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship along with the manual application form, failing which the application shall be rejected.
• A candidate should have obtained permanent registration with MCI/DCI (as the case may be) or any state council. If candidate does not have such registration , he should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/heradmission.
• Candidates who are previously registered and pursuing/completed the PG degree course or have obtained PG degree, are not eligible for appearing at PIMS-AICET-PG 2010.
• Candidates previously admitted to PG degree course and resigned/ left the seat are not eligible for appearing at PIMS-AICET-PG 2010 .
• Candidates who have completed Medicine postgraduate diploma course or would be completing by 31.03.2010 will be eligible for PIMS-AICET-PG 2010 foradmission to Medicine postgraduate degree in the same subject only.
