Eligibility Criteria


For BFA:

i) General Category candidate seeking admission must have a clear pass in Senior School Certificate Examination (12 year Course) of the C.B.S.E., New Delhi or equivalent examination with 50% or more marks in the aggregate of five subjects.

ii) 45% marks for applicants of SC/ST category, and general category candidates with Drawing, Painting, Sculpture or Applied Art as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination, Widows and/or children of Armed Personnel/Para-Military Forces and Physically Handicapped Candidates.

iii) Candidates with Compartment are not eligible to apply.

For Diploma in Fine Art Course:


Deaf and Dumb students who have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class X) conducted by C.B.S.E. New Delhi, or an examination recognized as equivalent will be considered eligible for admission to this Course subject to their passing the Aptitude Test in practical subjects only.

The admission to this Course is given for five seats only, one in each of the five disciplines i.e. Applied Art, Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking and Visual Communication, as per modality of admission of Delhi University.

For Master of Fine Art (MFA):

A candidate seeking admission to the Course must have passed the Bachelor of Fine Art degree of four year duration (after 10+2) offered by the Delhi University or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with 50% or more marks in the aggregate for applicants of general category and 45% for SC/ST category/Widows and/or children of Armed / para-Military Personnel and Physically Handicapped.

Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art Course :

Deaf and Dumb students who have passed Diploma in Fine Art
Course of 4 years duration of the University of Delhi or an Examination recognized as equivalent thereto will be considered eligible for admission to this Course subject to their qualifying the Assessment as detailed in the Prospectus and applicable to other candidates for admission to M.F.A. Courses

Application Procedure

Application Form and Prospectus for admission to the above courses will be available on sale in the College Office from Friday, 10th June to Saturday 25th June, 2011 on all working days between 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on cash payment of Rs. 500/- for General Category and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST and Physically Challenged (P/H and Deaf & Dumb) category candidates or Crossed Indian Postal Order or by Demand Draft from State Bank of India payable at New Delhi, in favour of D.D.O., College of Art, New Delhi.

Request for Application Form through Registered / Speed Post & Courier should be accompanied with a setf-addressed envelop of 10”X12" duly affixed with Rs. 100/- postage stamp.

Application Forms (for BFA) duly completed should reach the Principal, College 0fArt, New Delhi, by hand on or before Saturday 25th June, 2011 and by Registered / Speed Post & Courier on or before Tuesday, 28th June, 2011.

And for MFA, by hand on or before Thursday, 30th June, 2011 & by Registered/Speed Post & Courier on or before Saturday, 2nd July, 2011.

The candidates may also download the Application Form for BFA or MFA from the College Website "http://colart.delhigovt.nic.in " and submit the same duly filled along with the requisite cash amount/or
Crossed Indian Postal Order/or by Demand Draft from State Bank of India and enclosures on or before the stipulated date.

Admission to B.E. and B.Arch. courses for the year 2011

Eligibility Criteria

a) For B.E. Courses

The admission to the First Semester B.E. Courses will be open to a candidate, who

(i) has qualified in the AIEEE-2011, conducted by the C.B.S.E., for admission to these courses.

(ii) has passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% marks in case of S.C./S.T./Physically Challenged), conducted by a recognized Board/ University/ Council in March/ April 2011

(b) For B. Arch. Course

The admission to the First Semester B. Arch. Course will be open to a candidate, who

(i) has qualified in the All India Engineering/Pharmacy/Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE-2011), with Architecture Aptitude test conducted by the CBSE.

(ii) has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics and English as subjects of examinations at the 10+2 level with minimum 50% marks in aggregate; OR

has passed 3 year diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by the Central/State Governments provided the candidate passed the Diploma examination with 50% marks in aggregate.

Application Procedure

All candidates desirous of seeking admission to the above institutions are required to submit their applications on-line on website www.chdenggadmissions.nic.in . On-line registration will start on 7th June, 2011 and close on 24th June, 2011 at 5.00 PM.

The registration-cum-counseling fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 1050/- (Rupees One Thousand and Fifty only) in favour of Joint Admission Committee-2011 is to be deposited in the form of e-challan in any branch of State Bank of India throughout India.

The information brochure and other details will be available on the website from 7th June, 2011 onwards.

Important: The candidates belonging to Sports Category and the Sons/Daughters/Spouses of Military/ Paramilitary Personnel are also required to send hard copies of their applications after on-line registration. Seats under these two categories will be filled through manual counseling only for which separate counseling dates will be announced on the website.

The hard copy along with confirmation page (generated after on-line registration) and self-attested photocopies of supporting documents can be submitted by hand in the Admissions Office at PEC University of Technology, Sector 12, Chandigarh or sent by post to The Chairman, Joint Admission Committee, PEC University of Technology, Sector 12, Chandigarh so as to reach by 1st July, 2011.

Admission to Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)

Applications are invited for Admission to Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)  5½ years Course-2011 at Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College, New Delhi

Eligibility Criteria

Age: He/She must have attained or will attain the age of Seventeen (17) years as on 31st December 2011.

The candidates must have passed XIIth Class (12 years course) or any other equivalent Examination recognised by the University of Delhi with 60% or more marks in the aggregate of three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and has also passed English as one of the subject from the recognised school conducting regular classes situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi (except Private, Patrachar Vidhyalaya and Open School). While deciding the merit the marks obtained in English will not be taken into consideration.

The candidates from all over India who have passed XIIth Class (12 years course) or any other equivalent Examination recognised by the University of Delhi with 60% or more marks in the aggregate of three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and has also passed English as one of the subject from the recognised school conducting regular classes (except Private, Patrachar Vidhyalaya and Open School). The Bulletin of Information may be obtained from the office of the Faculty of Homoeopathic Medicines, 6th floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110 007, only against a Bank Draft / Banker’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi in the following manner:-

(i) By Hand for Rs. 750/- (Rs. Seven Hundred Fifty only) for General/OBC Categories & Rs. 550/- (Rs. Five Hundred & Fifty only) for SC/ST/PH Categories between 10:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. on all working days from 01st June, 2011 to 22nd June, 2011.

(ii) By Post for Rs. 800/- (Rs. Eight Hundred and Fifty only) for General/OBC Categories & Rs. 600/- (Rs. Six Hundred only) for SC/ST/PH Categories along with a self addressed envelope of 10" X 8" upto 15th June, 2011.
