Invitation for Industry Collaboration for Professional /Technical Training to Enhance Employability

The University of Delhi has initiated collaborations with industry to improve the employability of students, especially from non-formal streams, under University Industry Synergy Program. Several courses have been designed and are being delivered through Centre for Professional and Technical Training (Campus of Open Learning) located at C-2, Keshav Puram. The Centre is well connected by Metro. The University of Delhi has signed MoUs with leading companies and also with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).



At present the following courses are being delivered through this Centre :

`Retail Management`, `Software Application Development` and Automobile Service & Management` in collaboration with CII; `Medical Transcription in partnership with MT Forum; `Hospitality Persona Lifestyle Program` in collaboration with UEI Global. Other courses like `Voice and Accent` in association with IBM-Daksh and `Insurance` with Metlife will be starting shortly.

The University invites Industry to partner with the Campus of Open Learning in suggesting and delivering new courses in areas where trained human resources are needed. Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Students appearing for final year examinations in 2008 are also eligible to apply.
Application procedure: Candidates desirous of taking ATMA should first collect ONLINE application kits, which will be available from November 22, 2008 from ATMA Office, at Hyderabad, different IMS Learning Centers, Career Forum, Cerebral Heights, & PT-Education Centers and AIMS member institutes across the country by paying Rs.850/- (Rupees eight hundred and fifty only) in cash or by sending a demand draft for Rs.910 (Rupees nine hundred and ten only) (includes postal charges) favouring "Association of Indian Management Schools" payable at Hyderabad from Office of ATMA, Association of Indian Management Schools House No. 8-3-677/57 A, Plot No. 57, Sri Krishnadevarayanagar, Street No.6, Yellareddiguda, Hyderabad - 500 073. The admission kit contains the following: ; ; Bulletin with information about ATMA. ; ; An envelope in which there will be an adhesive sticker with Personal ID code printed on it. ; ; When you purchase ATMA admission kit, you will be given a receipt by the sales centre. The same is required to be submitted to the invigilator at the time of examination along with the admit card. <><><><> Inside the admission kit, there will be an envelope containing self adhesive sticker with Personal ID code printed on it. For applying online, candidates should log on to ATMA website www.atma-aims.org. The specimen online application form for ATMA with duly filled in data of a specimen candidate is enclosed in the Annexure II of the bulletin. NIILM Centre for Management Studies

Admission to full-time PGDBM program (2009 - 2011) offering specializations in the areas of International Business, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources Management and Information Technology & Systems Management.
Eligibility: The two years full time PGDBM program is designed for those who have completed their graduation or its equivalent degree in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or the AICTE are eligible for Post Graduate Studies with minimum of 50% marks . Individuals appearing for their final year Degree examination can also apply. The proof of graduation testimonials has to be furnished latest by 31st October 2009.




Application procedure: Application Kit (Application Form & Prospectus) can be obtained from the admission office of NIILM-CMS from 1st of October, 2008 on payment of Rs. 1450/- in cash or through Courier by demand draft of Rs 1500/- drawn in favour of “ NIILM” payable at NEW DELHI .

The application form can also be downloaded from our website; www.niilm.com . Downloaded filled application form can be sent to the admission office along with requisite documents and a demand draft of Rs. 1500/- drawn in favour of “NIILM" payable at NEW DELHI .

We strongly encourage you to review all these materials before you apply. The PGDBM Admissions Committee will review only those applications that include all required materials.

Selection Procedure : The selection procedure at NIILM-CMS is highly structured and objective. It is geared towards assessing the applicants' on requisite attitudes, drive and learning abilities to put him / her up through two years of rigorous learning. ; ; ; Three Tier Selection Process : Tier 1 : Screening applicants on the basis of their CAT 2008 / MAT / GMAT Scores. ; ; ; Tier 2 : Candidates who qualify in the CAT/MAT with scores meeting NIILM-CMS standards are called for Group Discussions. ; ; Tier 3 : Candidates finally appear for the personal interview with the Admission Board. ; ; Final Selection :: The provisionally selected candidates shall be communicated of their final selection within 15 days of GD and Interviews . The selected candidates must pay their first installment of the fee within fifteen days of their selection. The seats shall be offered to selected candidates on first come first serve.
