Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (JNKVV)

Applications on prescribed form are invited for admission to Master and Ph.D. degree programmes for free and payment seats in following degree programmes under faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering for the Academic Session 2010-11.

M.Sc.(Ag): Genetics & Plant Breeding, Agronomy, Soil Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension.

M.Sc (Horticulture).: Fruit Science, Vegetable Science.

M.Sc.: Plant Physiology, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Agricultural Statistics, Food Technology

M.Sc (Forestry): Agroforestry, Plantation Technology

M.B.A.: Agri–Bussiness Management

M.Tech.: In all 3 fields of specialization viz., Farm Machinery & Power Engineering, Processing & Food Engineering, and Soil & Water Engineering

Ph.D.: Agriculture and Agril. Engg. Faculties, in relevant subjects.

Note: Candidates will be selected for admission on merit basis. Preference will be given to JNKVV Graduates for admission to the above PG / Ph.D. degree programme.


Application Procedure

Application Forms and Brief Information containing details including fees structure, etc. can be obtained w.e.f. 30.05.2010 in person from the Registrar, JNKVV, Krishinagar, Adhartal, Jabalpur, or from the Dean, College of Agriculture / Agricultural Engineering, Jabalpur / Rewa / Tikamgarh, on payment of Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) in the shape of Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft payable to JNKVV at Jabalpur.

The form can also be obtained by post by sending a self addressed envelop duly stamped of Rs. 10/-. Application forms will be supplied by ordinary post only.

The admission notice and application form will also be available on JNKVV website www.jnkvv.nic.in with the condition to pay of Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) in the shape of Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft payable to JNKVV at Jabalpur along with the application form.

Admission forms duly filled in all respect should be submitted to the Director Instruction, JNKVV, Jabalpur on or before 20.06.2010 up to 5.00 pm.

A self addressed 10 x 22 cm envelope duly affixed with postal stamp of Rs. 05/- should be attached along with the application form for the purpose of correspondence.

Gautam Budh Technical University (GBTU)

Admission under NRI quota in B.Tech. & B.Arch. Courses

Applications are invited for admissions to the Govt. aided Institutions under NRI quota as per AICTE norms from the son/daughter and real brother/sister of NRIs. Applications from the children of real brother / sister and son / daughter of NRIs may also be considered for admission in Govt. aided institutions, if the seats remain vacant after the admission of NRI, or the son/daughter or the real sister /brother of NRI.

Admission for Sons/Daughters of Kashmiri Migrants to First Year of B.Tech./ B.Tech.(Ag.Engg.)/ B.Pharma/ BHMCT/ B.Arch./ BFAD

One seat is available in each Technical institution/ Professional institutions in each programme (B.Tech./B.Pharm./B.HMCT/ B.Arch./ BFAD) affiliated to Gautam Budh Technical University, Lucknow and Mahamaya Technical University NOIDA (Earlier jointly known as- U P Technical University, Lucknow) for sons and daughters of Kashmiri Migrants

Eligibility Criteria

For NRI: Candidates seeking admission under this quota must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) subjects in Intermediate or equivalent examination

The candidate seeking admission for B. Arch. will be subjected to an aptitude test
especially designed to assess the candidates’ aptitude.

For Kashmiri Migrants: Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in Qualifying Subjects at 10+2 level or equivalent examination as mentioned in table of clause 3.1(i) of Information Brochure, available on website- www.uptu.nic.in .

Eligible candidates may submit their applications on prescribed format
for admission against NRI / Kashmiri Migrant quota to the Registrar, Gautam Budh Technical University, I.E.T. Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow (UP) 226021 along with Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (separately for each course) payable to Finance Officer, Gautam Budh Technical University, Lucknow" payable at Lucknow.

Counselling

Admission will be made through a process of counselling (based on the
relative merit of the applicants). At the time of counselling, the candidates have to deposit Original documents and a set of photocopies of (1) Marksheet of 10+2 or equivalent examination, (2) 10th (High School) Certificate (3) Proof of claimed category (Kashmiri
Migrants/NRI and relationship certificates) as per clause 3.4 of Information brochure (4) Three recent passport size coloured photographs.

An initial fee of Rs. 5000/- in the form of Crossed Bank Draft and counselling fee of Rs. 500/- in the form of A/C payee bank draft in favour of Finance Officer, G.B. Technical University, Lucknow” payable at Lucknow, is to be deposited at the time of counselling.

The counselling schedule, counselling letter and list of short listed candidates in both the above categories for counselling will be available on our website www.uptu.nic.in after 26th June, 2010.

Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC)

Applications are invited from women candidates for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course commencing from 16th July 2010.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: Minimum age requirement is 17 years as on 1st October 2010.

Senior School Certificate Examination or Indian School Certificate Examination (12 Years Course) or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with 50% or more marks (45% or more marks for SC/ ST/ OBC) in the aggregate of four subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided the student has passed in each subjects separately.

The reservation for SC, ST & OBC candidates will be as per Government Rules.

Application Procedure

Prospectus & prescribed application forms for the session 2010-2011 can be obtained from College of Nursing, LHMC & Associated Hospitals, New Delhi, by submitting attested copies of 12th Class Mark Sheet & 10th Class Certificate for age proof and on submission of Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque amounting to Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only) payable at New Delhi favouring "The Director, LHMC & Associated Hospitals, New Delhi“.

Application forms can be obtained either in person or by post. (If requested by post, request for admission forms should reach before 10.06.2010 along with enclosed self addressed and stamped envelope size 30 x 20 cm.)

The Prospectus & Admission form for admission to B.Sc. (Hons) Nsg. Course can also be downloaded from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Website – http://www.mohfw.nic.in and the same may be submitted along with the Demand Draft / Banker's Cheque as per details mentioned above.

A candidate seeking admission to College of Nursing, shall submit
completed application on the prescribed form Annexure I & ll.
