Application Procedure


Application form for the Common Entrance Test (CET),is to be filled online at http://acts.cdac.in (recommended). The non-refundable registration fee of Rs.500/- (for online) for the CET is to be paid by DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of ‘C-DAC, ACTS’ payable at Pune and sent to:

Candidates are required to give the details on the backside of the DD like Name of the Candidate, Registration ID, Form No, Contact No and the course applied for i.e. DAC February 2011 batch.

Printed Application Forms along with the instruction sheet are also available free of cost at all the Training Centres offering the DAC course. Candidates can fill in the printed application form and attach a DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of “C-DAC, ACTS” payable at Pune of Rs.600/-(for manual only) towards registration fees for the CET along with a recent passport size photograph and submit the same at any of the training centres offering the DAC course or the same can be sent by speed post / courier only to the address mentioned above.

For appearing for the DAC-CET, candidates are required to download & print the admit card.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: A First-Class Graduate Engineers with First Division/ First Class Marks from High School/Secondary Board onwards.

Work Experience: Self sponsored candidates - Minimum 5(five) to maximum 10 (ten) years of work experience in manufacturing and related sector; holding responsibilities in production planning and control, research, design and development, quality control, plant engineering, maintenance, supply chain, etc.

For sponsored candidates, the upper limit on maximum experience of 10 years is waived off.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)

Admission under 50% seats quota in various Postgraduate (MD/MS/ Diploma & MDS) courses in Medical and Dental colleges in the country run by the Union of India, State Governments (except Government of Andhra Pradesh and J&K) and Municipal or other local authorities.

Eligibility Criteria

(1) Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply

(2) The candidate must posses MBBS/BDS degree from a recognized Medical/Dental College or a foreign degree included in the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and full registration either from the Medical/ Dental Council of India or State Medical/Dental Council after completing the compulsory rotating internship.

(3) Candidates who have obtained MBBS/BDS from Medical/Dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible to apply. However, candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare/D.G.H.S., New Delhi) to do MBBS/BDS from Medical/Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply subject to submission of requisite documents specified in the Prospectus.

(4) The candidates should complete the required period of 12 months pre-registration internship from a recognized Hospital on or before 31st March, 2011.

Application Procedure

The prospectus is available on the website www.aiimsexams.org and must be read by the applicants before applying. The cost of Application-cum-Examination fee is Rs.1000/- (Rs.800/- in case of SC/ ST candidates)

A. On-line Application: A candidate can submit application On-Line through Internet. Visit www.aiimsexams.org read the prospectus and other details carefully and follow the instructions given therein. The candidate can pay the application fee through a challan form (down loaded from internet while applying on-line) in any branch of State Bank of India. Transaction Processing Fee (as applicable) will be payable to the Bank.

B. Off-line Application: Prospectus-cum-Application Form can also be obtained BY POST by sending a crossed Bank Draft for Rs.1 050/- for General / OBC and Rs.850/- for SC / ST category, drawn in favour of the "ACCOUNTS OFFICER (EXAMS) AIPGMEE-2011". The Bank Draft should be payable at New Delhi and should be valid for six months (upto March/April, 2011).

The request should reach the Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110 608 on or before 9th Nov 2010. The address at which Application Form is required should be written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS and with PIN code.

The following words should be written on top of the envelope: "Request for Application Form for AIPGMEE-2011".

Prospectus can also be obtained by hand from the Reception Counter of Examination Section, AIIMS against Bank Draft for Rs.1000/- for General/OBC and Rs.800/- for SC/ST category drawn in favour of the
“ACCOUNTS OFFICER (EXAMS) AIPGMEE-2011” as specified above.
