AMU Aligarh entrance exams on schedule

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University shall hold its entire entrance exam for professional courses; engineering, medical and management according to previously declared timeline. However, AMU academic activities are stopped for indefinite time due to campus violence.

The AMU entrance examination for class 11th would be held on May 8; AMU Engineering Exam would be held on May 14 and AMU Medical Entrance Exam on Mar.

The AMU academic activities were declared closed indefinitely on Saturday due to campus violence between two groups of students that left 12 of them injured.

The source of this news is PTI and yahoo India news.

AMU Aligarh is a national university and institution of international repute, not a war front. This seems un-cool and pretty irritating to me those students of such reputed institution and one of the top political centers for international affairs chose method of violence for resolving issues. Hope the peace should prevail in the campus soon.

Wishing best of luck to all those going for AMU entrance exam.
