Finally it's admission time in Delhi University Colleges for study of under graduate courses leading to award bachelor degrees both general and Hons. DU is one of the top national university of India where students from different Indian states prefer to study. Here given admission schedule for DU Colleges' Admission 2012


  • Common Pre-Admission forms (OMR) will be available online and offline from 4th June 2012 till 18th June 2012 for General and OBC candidates.
  • OMR forms will be available at 12 Post office (Head Office) and 10 Colleges. The Post offices will sell and receive forms from 10.00am- 4.00 pm while colleges from 10.00 am – 1.00 pm.
  • The Cost of OMR form including Information Bulletin is Rs.100.
  • No college will sell their individual forms except for Sports and ECA admission category.
  • Online Registration will be for General and OBC Candidates only.
  • SC/ST candidates will have to register between June 4, 2012 and June 18, 2012 from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm at four Centre’s (Arts Faculty (North Campus), South Campus, Rajdhani College and Shyam Lal College.
  • PH candidates will be registered at office of Dean, Students Welfare from June 4, 2012 to June 18, 2012.

    In view of (i) the recent Judgment by the honorable Andhra Pradesh High Court, setting aside the Government resolution No. F1-1/2005-U-1 A/846 dated 22nd December 2011, providing reservation of 4.5% of seats to the candidates belonging to OBC(NCL)-Minority community and (ii) recent guidelines received from MHRD, all candidates are hereby advised to take note of the following while finalizing choice of courses in the on-going “IIT JEE Counselling”:

    “In the absence of any further legal development/information from MHRD before 13th June 2012, the judgment of the Andhra Pradesh High Court will be implemented by ignoring the provision for reservation of 4.5% seats and by converting seats meant for OBC(NCL)-Minority community to OBC(NCL) category. Therefore, all the shortlisted candidates are advised to note that availability of 4.5% reservation for OBC(NCL)-Minority shall depend on the legal developments till 13th June and hence they may register the choice of courses accordingly."

    IIT JEE 2012 Important Notice Regarding Admission

    Attention all candidates claiming seat allocation under different categories:

        Allotment of any seat/ offer of allotment of seat in any of the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC (NCL) / OBC (NCL-MINORITY) is provisional and shall be confirmed only after receiving the verification reports from the concerned District Magistrates/Issuing Authorities


        In case at any stage (even after admission), it is found that the category certificate submitted by a candidate is not found valid, then the offer of admission shall automatically stand withdrawn and the candidature shall stand cancelled for all purposes and such a candidate shall not be considered for admission at all, even if he/she has a rank in the common rank list.

        In the event of such cancellation, due to submission of an invalid/false certificate, the candidate shall not be eligible to appear in any subsequent JEE on account of giving a false declaration / undertaking and for submitting a false/invalid certificate.

    All candidates are advised to exercise caution at the time of submitting their category certificates and to submit the same only after ensuring their genuineness and that his / her category is included in the Central Government list of SC/ST/OBC (NCL) / OBC (NCL-MINORITY) lists. In case any candidate wishes to withdraw his / her undertaking or certificates for any reason, may do so on or before 10th June 2012 by 5pm by sending a request in writing either by e-mail or by FAX. No requests received after the aforesaid time and date shall be entertained.
