Rashtriya Indian Military College - RIMC Entrance Exam 2013


The Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradoon established in 1922 comes under the purview of Ministry of Defence of Government of India. The college prepares future cadets for traing into National Defence Academy, Pune.


  • Only male candidates are eligible for admission into RIMC Dehradoon.
  • RIMC Dehradoon Entrance Examination for 2014 session shall be held on 01.06.2013 and 02.06.2013
  • The age of the candidate on January 01, 2014 shall be 11 1/2 years to 13 years, strictly.

Written Test - 

Timing - English : 10 AM to 12 Noon and Mathematics 2 PM to 5.30 PM


Interview - Interview i.e. Personality Test and Mental Ability test for candidates qualified in written examination shall be held on 07 October, 2013

To qualify in written examination, achieving minimum 50% marks is compulsory in each subject.

The candidates qualified in written test and eligible to appear for Interview will be informed before September 2013.

Medical Test / Physical Fitness Test- The candidates qualified in Interview round shall require to go for medical test in military hospitals.

RIMC Entrance Examination shall be held in every state capital.

Fees- The study cost at RIMC Dehradoon is Rs 26400 per year which may be revised time to time. During time of admission, candidates would require to deposit Rs 10000 caution money which shall be returned after completion of course at RIMC Dehradoon.

Last Date for submission of application form is 31 March 2013

CMAT will be single exam window for Management Admission in Karnataka Colleges

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) will be single test in Karnata for admission into all MBA, PG Diploma and other management programs in Karnataka’s MBA Colleges. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) administering authority for CMAT. According to news sources the KEA has informed about its decision to AICTE New Delhi. No institute will be allowed to conduct written entrance exam for PG management admission from this year.

CBSE opens Helpline to beat exam stress

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi opens counseling helpline for students writing CBSE School Board Examination. The helpline offers psychological help to students in the times of examination preparation and during the examination days. This is an outreach program carefully crafted keeping in focus the heterogeneity of students’ population and geographical spread. The counseling is free and voluntary.
CBSE Schools in India and overseas offers counseling session free of cost. According to different new sources, this year 66 Principals, trained counselors from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and few psychologists will participate in Tele-Counseling and address exam related psychological problems. Of these 56 are located in India and 10 in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Nepal, Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman and Tokyo. Students in India writing CBSE Board Exam 2012 can seek counseling help by dialing toll free no 1800 11 8004.
