The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad is an autonomous university established in 2015 for providing higher education in sciences, engineering and technology etc. The institute started functioning from temporary campus at Ahalia Integrated campus, Palakkad. The IIT Madras is the mentor institute to IIT Palakkad and the Director IIT Madras is the Mentor Director.
At present, the IIT Palakkad offer Under Graduate programme leading to the award of B.Tech degree in following engineering disciplines
Admission to B.Tech degree programmes of IIT Palakkad are offered on the basis of performance in JEE Advanced.
