Applications on prescribed forms are invited for admission to Diploma courses in

(i) Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE : 30 seats):

(ii) Computer Engineering (CSE; 30 seats):

(iii) Food Processing Technology (FPT: 30 seats); and

(iv) Control and Instrumentation (CAI 30 seats)

Application procedure: APPLICATION FORM-CUM-INFORMATION BROCHURE can be obtained in person from CIT Cell, NERIST, or CIT, Guwahati University Campus, Kokrajhar, Assam-783 370 from 21.01.2008 to 18.04.2008 @ Rs. 50/- in cash or by request by sending a Bank Draft of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) drawn in favour of "CIT" payable at SBI - Kokrajhar (Branch Code - 0119) and a sell addressed envelope of size 27 cm x 12 cm, from Registrar, CIT, Kokrajhar, Assam - 783 370.

Date of Entrance Test : CIT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION – 2008 - 8th June, 2008 at Guwahati and Kokrajhar Centres

Reservation of Seats : 60% FROM BTC (60% ST, 5% SC, 15% OBC and 20% General), 20% from N.E. region excluding BTC, 17% from all India excluding N. E. Region, 3% for Physically Handicapped.
