Eligibility: 1. The candidates seeking admission to these courses should have passed MBBS from the college recognized by Medical Council of India.

2. As per the requisitions of statuary bodies, as laid out in post graduate regulation 2000 of Medical Council of India the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be 50 percent for candidates belonging to general category and 40 percent for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward classes. (as declared by Government of Karnataka from time to time).

3. The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship / would be completing by 30th April 2009.

4. Foreign / PIO / NRI students need not appear for BLDEU-PGET-2009. Their admission will be based on qualifying examination marks.

The MCI norms to qualify for PGET & Admissions

Candidates seeking admission to these Post Graduate Degree courses should have passed M.B.B.S. recognized by Medical Council of India or equivalent qualification and should have obtained permanent Registration from the Medical Council of India or any of the State/ Medical council or candidate should register the same within one month from the date of admission,
failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.
Application procedure: Application forms can be downloaded from our website. Data entry is to be made by the candidate before generating the application form. Application cannot be submitted on line.

a. Ensure that a)The Demand Draft for Rs 3,000/- is drawn in favour of The Registrar, BLDE University, Bijapur b) Ensure that the D.D is payable at Bijapur, Karnataka State. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, even if the application is rejected for any reasons (because of incomplete information or ineligibility of the candidate) or if the candidate does not appear for the Entrance Test.

Data Entry to generate the application form has to be made properly and completely. This data forms record.

The completed application form must have the signature of the Candidate, left thumb impression, signature of candidate's parent/ guardian and Authentication by the Head of the Institute where the candidate has completed his/her M.B.B.S Degree.

The application form is said to be complete only if it is enclosed with all the documents mentioned below and after verification of the same submitted in person / speed post /courier: The Registrar, BLDE University, Smt. a) Demand Draft for Rs 3000/-

b) Attested Photo copy of Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate

c) Attested photocopy of Compulsory Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate or Certificate indicating the probable date of completion issued by the principle of the College. Attested photocopy of Registration Certificate

d) Attested Photocopy of Attempt Certificate

e) Attested Photocopies of all marks cards including that of failed year/phase if any(First year to Final Year)

f) Three additional copies of photograph which is pasted to the application form (mention your application number on the back of the photograph)
