Thapar University

Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes - 2009 - 2010:

MBA (IT Networking)
MBA (Manufacturing)
MBA (Energy)
Eligibility: MBA (IT Networking)

a) Graduation in any branch of Engineering/ Technology or MCA. Normal duration of the programme for these candidates shall be 2 years (Four Semesters)

b) MSc/ BSc/ BCA/ BMIT : These candidates immediately after admission are required to do a bridge course of one year to be offered by LMT SOM, TU. Normal duration of the programme for these candidates shall be 3 years (Six semesters). Candidates with M.Sc/ B.Sc qualifications must have passed Mathematics as one of the subjects during Graduation.

MBA (Manufacturing)

a) Graduation in any branch of Engineering / Technology. Normal duration of the programme for these candidates shall be 2 years (Four Semesters)

B) MSc/ BSc : These candidates immediately after admission are required to do a bridge course of one year to be offered by LMTSOM. Normal duration of the programme for these candidates shall be 3 years (Six Semesters). Candidates with M.Sc/ B.Sc qualifications must have passed Mathematics as one of the subjects during Graduation.



MBA (Energy)

A graduate in any branch of Engineering/ Technology from any recognized University.
Application procedure: Candidates seeking admission in LMTSOM, TU shall fill up the Application form and send/submit the completed form to Registrar, TU, Patiala-147 004 only and not to any other office/Institution.

Application for admission must be made in the candidate's own handwriting and on the prescribed application form. The form down loaded from the website (www.thapar.edu ) or photocopy of the downloaded form must be accompanied by a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 1250/- drawn in favour of Registrar, TU, payable at Patiala-147004.
