Courses offered: Institute of Development Studies Kolkata in collaboration with the Centre for Social Sciences and Humanities, Calcutta University invites applications for admission to M.Phil in
Development Studies (Degree to be conferred by University of Calcutta) commencing in July 2009. The two-year fulltime multidisciplinary programme is offered to those who wish to pursue a career in academia, administration, NGOs, media and related fields.

Eligibility: Master’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or
professional courses like Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Law, MBA etc. with 55% marks from a recognized University. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per University rules.

Application procedure: Application form and prospectus are available at
the address given below on payment of Rs.250/- by cash or DD in favour of Institute of Development Studies Kolkata. Forms may be downloaded from the website www.idsk.edu.in. In such cases Rs.250/- must be paid along with the filled-in application form.
