Eligibility Criteria

For MBBS / BDS: H.S.C. (+2) or equivalent qualification with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany & Zoology

For B.Sc. Nursing: H.S.C. (+2) or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany & Zoology

For P.B.B.Sc.:

a. The candidate should have qualified in Diploma in Nursing and be a registered Nurse and Midwife in the Tamil Nadu Nursing and Midwives Council or any other State Nursing council accepted by the authority of this University.

b. Should have put in minimum of one year experience after registration in hospital or as a whole time public health nurse.

For Bachelor of Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy: H.S.C. with Physics, Chemistry and Biology

For Bachelor of Pharmacy: H.S.C. or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths. Minimum aggregate 50% marks.

Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology: Pass in H.S.C. with Physics, Chemistry and Biology

For B.Sc. Optometry: H.S.C. with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 60% aggregate in any two subjects.

For Bachelor of Medical Record Sciences: Any degree of a recognized university

For B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology: H.S.C. with 50% marks and above. For DMLT holders the duration will be 2 years (B.Sc., M.L.T)

For MOT: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
For MPT: Bachelor of Physiotherapy

Application Procedure

Candidates can apply in two ways

1. The application form obtained on payment can be filled and sent to the Dean (Admissions)

2. Applications can be downloaded from the website & can be filled and sent along with a DD for Rs.1000/- for MBBS / BDS courses & Rs.750/- for all other courses as applicable favouring SRMIST, payable at Chennai, to the Dean (Admissions).
