Ph.D. program in Environment and Disaster Management

Eligibility Criteria

M.Sc. in Agriculture, Environment or related subjects, with at least 60% marks at both B.Sc. and M.Sc. level.

Application Procedure

Application forms: Forms are available at the University office at its main campus at Belur Math and can also be downloaded from the University website.

Application Fee: Demand Draft for Rs.200/- drawn in favour of 'Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University' should accompany the filled in application form.

Deadline: Apply before the first week of September 2010.

Selected students will receive fellowships subject to availability of funds.

As per UGC norms, there will be a one or two semester pre-Ph.D. course work, at the end of which there will be a comprehensive examination.

Only those who successfully complete the course requirements and pass the end comprehensive examination will be allowed to continue with the Ph.D. programme.
