Admission to Second Semester 2010-2011 in M.E., M.Pharm and Ph.D.

Applications are invited for admission to Second Semester 2010 – 2011 in the following programmes:

1. Higher Degree Programmes: M.E. and M.Pharm.

a) At Pilani Campus:
M.E. Chemical, Civil (with specialization in Structural Engineering/ Infrastructure Systems), Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, Software Systems ; M.Pharm.

b) at Goa Campus:
M.E. in Biotechnology, Chemical, Design Engineering, Software Systems, Embedded Systems

2. Ph.D. programmes at BITS Campuses in Pilani, Goa & Hyderabad

Eligibility Criteria:

For Higher Degree Programme: candidates obtaining a minimum of aggregate 60% marks in the qualifying degree examinations.

For Ph.D. Programme: M.E./M.Pharm./MBA/M.Phil of BITS or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination. Any Applicant with an M.Sc./ B.E./ B.Pharm or their equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate may be considered for Ph.D. admission but has to do prescribed additional course work.

Industries and R&D organizations collaborating with BITS can sponsor candidates to work for Ph.D. under the "Ph.D. aspirants scheme".

Application Procedure

Candidates have to apply online at http://www.bitsadmission.com/hd/bitshdapply/onlinereg.asp

The application fee is Rs.1500/- & can be made in the following modes:

By Credit Cards: All credit cards issued by Master or Visa or payment by debit cards

Payment through Net Banking

By cash payment at all ICICI Bank branches through a challan which is to be printed from this website while registering if you choose challan mode of payment.

Candidates can also pay through Demand Draft drawn in favour of BITS, Pilani payable at SBBJ- Pilani (Code - 10398) ot UCO Bank, Pilani (Code - 0150) or SBI Pilani (Code - 11309) or ICICI bank Jhunjhunu (Code - 0799).

The completed application form should be sent by registered Post / Speed Post to “The Admission Officer, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan – 333 031” on or before the last date.
