National Power Training Institute Ropar offers admission to Post Graduate Diploma Course in Hydro Power Plant Engineering. The course is open to mechanical and electrical engineering graudates.
The duration of course is 39 weeks and covers all aspects of Hydro Power Plant Engineering including O&M, erection, commissioning, Management, Distribution of Electricity & Tariff. The course profile covers the mandatory requirements under Indian Electricity Amendment Rules. 1981. The course authorizes the Engineer to operate & maintain Hydro Power Plants.
Eligibility Criteria National Power Training Institute Hydro Power Plant Engineering Course
Degree in Mech. /Elect. Or equivalent from a recognized Engineering College/University with minimum of 60% marks. Those who have appeared for final year examination can also apply with bonafide certificate from College/University however admission will be confirmed only if marks obtained are minimum of 60%.
AGE LIMIT: Maximum 27 years as on 25.07.2011. No age limit for sponsored candidates.

Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- (Non refundable) in favor of Hydro Power Training Centre ,NPTI, Nangal payable at Nangal should reach to the Director, National Power Training Institute HPTC, Nangal ,Distt. Ropar-140124 (Punjab) with two passport size photographs in the following format latest by 25.07.2011 with 5”x10” self address envelop.
