List of Under Graduate Programs Offered By IIT Roorkee


The IIT Roorkee is one the best autonomous university in India for offering undergraduate courses like B.Tech, B.Arch, Integrated M.Sc and Integrated M.Tech. Admission to these courses offered on the basis of JEE Advanced merit position. The undergraduate programs under following categories shown in bold script:

Bachelors Degree Programs:

Integrated Dual Degree Program


The duration of these programs is 5 years, after successful completion of coursework at IIT Roorkee, both B.Tech and M.Tech degree awarded. Following dual degree programs are offered-

  •  B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) and M.Tech. (Hydrocarbon Engineering)
  •  B.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) and M.Tech. (Power Electronics)*
  •  B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering) and M.Tech.(Information Technology)
  •  B.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engineering) and M.Tech. (Wireless Communication)
  • B.Tech. (Process Engineering) and M.B.A.

Integrated M.Tech (Master of Technology) Program

The program duration of Integrated M.Tech courses is 5 years. On successful completion of coursework at IIT Rorkee, M.Tech Degree is awarded. Following programs are offered-

  •  M.Tech. (Geophysical Technology)
  •  M.Tech. (Geological Technology)
  •  M.Tech. (Polymer Science & Technology)

Integrated M.Sc Program

Like Integrated M.Tech, Integrated M.Sc Programs are offered at Roorkee of 5 years duration. Following courses are offered.


  •  M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics)
  •  M.Sc. (Physics)
  •  M.Sc. (Chemistry)


Admission to all under graduate programs at IIT Roorkee is offered on the basis of Rank in JEE Advanced.
