The National Institute of Science, Technology & Development Studies, New Delhi, a premier research institute of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications from eligible candidates for Ph.D program in the areas of Science, Technology and Innovation Studies (STIS) under Academy of Scientific and Innovation Research (AcSir).Research areas of CSIR-NISTADS: Global S&T Monitoring, Foresight & Evaluation, S&T Indicators/Measurement Studies; Perspective of Innovation Systems and S&T; S&T and Development/Rural Studies; Science, Technology & Policy Research; New Growth Opportunities and Science, Technology Studies.
Eligibility- A Masters degree in Science, engineering, medicine or social science with a valid national level fellowship (JRF/SRF) from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT or other recognized national funding agencies.
Note: CSIR Scientists recruited 2009 onwards / existing research fellows / project assistants (working at CSIR Labs for a minimum of 1 year) who fulfill the qualifications are also eligible to apply.
Admission criteria for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped candidates is relaxable as per government rules.
