Admission 2014: Post Diploma in Textile Processing

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates by the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Varanasi and Salem for admission to Post Diploma in Textile Processing for the session commencing from 16 July 2014.


Eligibility: A candidate having Three Years Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology / Diploma in Textile Technology / Textile Chemistry / Textile Processing from a Recognized institute.

Or any science graduate from a recognized College / University or B.Sc in Home Science passed with Physics & Chemistry subjects at 10+2 / Intermediate.

Admission Process: The admission will be made strictly on merit prepared on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination followed by the counseling at the respective institute.

Reservation: 27%, 15%, 7.5% seats will be reserved for OBC, SC, ST candidates respectively.

Duration of Course: 1 / ½ years (Three Semesters)

Stipend: Rs. 500/- per month.
