Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE)

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) was established in the year 2000 for governance of state schools of Chattisgarh. The board has Head Office in the state capital Chattisgarh.

Following examinations are conducted by CGBSE Raipur


  • High School leaving certificate exam (regular / self study / correspondence)
  • Higher Secondary School leaving certificate exam (regular / self study / correspondence)
  • Higher Secondary (Professional) School leaving certificate exam (regular / self study)
  • Diploma in Education (regular / correspondence)
  • Diploma in Physical Education


The major of functions of CGBSE are providing affiliation to government and private school in the state, conducting examination and declaration of exam results.
