India to Sign MoU among BRICS Countries

The Union Cabinet of India on December 3, 2015 gave its approval for signing of Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) among BRICS Nation for establishment of BRICS National University. Under the agreement cooperation will be extended among BRICS nation for betterment of higher education, scientific research, mobility of students, researchers and educators, information exchange, analysis and implementation of best practices and joint research programmes.

 India is host of 8th BRICS Summit i.e. BRICS Summit 2016 from February 2016 to December 2016. The highlights summit will be BRICS Trade Fair; BRICS Film Festival and BRICS under 17 Football Tournament. The member nations of BRICS are Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
