Standardized Tests are administered by educational assessment bodies to test the students what they had studied in previous years and whether they would be able to complete the next level of education in a given academic setting. These tests are similar to Competitive Examinations conducted in India for admission into schools, colleges and universities. For example JEE Main in India is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for admission into engineering colleges in the first year degree course. Similarly, in America, College Board conducts SAT for candidates who have completed 12 years of School Education and looking for college admission. The tests conducted by College Board are also honored by other institutes in the world.
