An Introduction To National Board of Accreditation (NBA)

The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) was established by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi to look after quality standards of technical institutes in the country. In the Year 2010 NBA got Autonomous Body status. It works towards maintaining quality standards for Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) programs offered by Colleges, Universities, Technical Institutes and Institutes of Higher Education in following study areas:

Engineering and Technology, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy and Hospitality

The National Board of Accreditation evaluates the technical institutes on different set of parameters to maintain the International Quality Standards. The institute also has partnership with international agencies those works towards standardization of technical education e.g. Washington Accord, Network of Accreditation Bodies for Engineering Education in Asia (NABEEA).

The accreditation helps institutes in maintaining quality standard. When you study a technical course from an institute accredited with NBA you learn skill of International standards and can set in geography for further education and work. The accreditation process not helps institutes and students only but equally helps industry. Hiring Managers can count on talents from NBA accredited institutes worry free.
