The Joint Entrance Examination Main 2018 or JEE Main 2018 is admission test for Undergraduate Engineering Degree Programs in Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other institutes funded by Central Government.
The examination is also pre requisite to apply for JEE Advanced for admission into Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs)
This year examination is scheduled on April 8, 2018. Candidates seeking admission in State Engineering Colleges of Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland and Odisha shall also need to appear for JEE Main. There shall be no separate entrance this year in the above states for Engineering Admission.
The JEE Main 2018, Application window shall open on December 1, 2017 and closes on January 1, 2018. However, candidates can pay fees upto December 2, 2018.
