(iii) M.E. Construction Technology & Management (for both Regular and Modular)

A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE after diploma) in teaching/industry/research organization.

(iv) M.E. Computer Science and Engineering (for both Regular and Modular)

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/ Information Technology from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE/IETE after diploma) in teaching/industry/research organization.

(v) M.E. Instrumentation and Control (for both Regular and Modular) Programme

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE/IETE after diploma) in teaching/industry/research organization.

(vi) M.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering (for both Regular and Modular) Programme

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE/IETE after diploma) in teaching/ industry/ research organization.

No experience is required for admission of general candidates to M. Tech/ME Programmes.

Indian Institute of Science invites applications for the IISc. Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering for SC/ST Students – 2009

Eligibility

Students studying I year M.Sc in science disciplines (Biological Sciences/Physics, Chemistry/ Mathematics) or III year B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree, during the academic year 2008-09.

Selection Criteria:

IISc. will evolve a suitable criteria for selecting the candidates for the programme.

Financial Support:

IISc. will provide:

- Travelling allowance equivalent to II Class train fare from College/residence to IISc. and back.

- Free board and lodging (on shared basis) at IISc.

- Fellowship of Rs.5,000/- and a book grant of Rs.1500/-

Features of the Programme:

Selected candidates students will work with one of the IISc. Faculty members and learn various techniques used in research for a period of one month during May-June 2009.

B.TECH (Part-Time) Entrance Examination -2009

Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi will hold an Entrance Examination for admission to first year of the four years B.Tech (Part-Time) Degree Programme in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication Engineering for the academic year 2009-2010 on May, 31, 2009 (Sunday). The candidates who.

(a) have passed State Diploma in Engineering of Three years duration &

(b) have served for a period of not less than One year as on 1st day of October, 2009 in an established engineering works/organization, located in the N.C.T. of Delhi and contiguous industrial areas shall be eligible to appear in the entrance examination.

The bulletin of information containing details of the admission Procedure, Application Form and Syllabi of Entrance Examination is available from B.Tech (Part-Time) office, Room No.FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department, w.e.f. 16th March, 2009 (Monday) on all working days (Monday to Saturday) between 2.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. on submission of Crossed bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 550/- drawn in favour of `The Coordinator B.Tech Entrance Examination` payable at Delhi.
