IGNOU begins 3 new courses

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) introduced 3 new courses. These are

• Certificate in First Aid
• Certificate in Tribal Studies
• Diploma in Event Management

Courses will be offered starting July 2018 Session. Last date for writing application is June 30.

UP PCS Main Exam Dates 2017

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Allahabad is set to conduct Provincial Civil Services Main Examination 2017 starting June 18 through July 6 2018. Approximately fourteen thousand candidates are who passed in the UP PCS Prelims are expected to take Main Test.

WBJEE 2018 Result

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) announces Joint Entrance Examination / JEE 2018 / WBJEE 2018. Based on the merit candidates shall get admission at Undergraduate Engineering Degree programs etc.
The WBJEE 2018 is objective type examination. The candidates who wish to see Copy of OMR Answer Sheet and Calculation Sheet can raise a request for it to the WBJEEB. The Secondary Examination Board, Assam (SEBA) is set to announce Class 10th Examination 2018 Result on 25 May 2018.

NITE 4 Year Integrated BA Ed BSc Ed Programme Opens

The National Institute of Teacher Education (NITE) is going to roll out 4 year undergraduate integrated program in education. For school leavers i.e. students completing Class 12 and interested in making a career in teaching, this is a good opportunity. At the end of program twin degrees will be awarded i.e. BA Ed or BSc Ed. So at the finish of college education students will not only a graduate degree but also a professional qualification. A committee formed by HRD Ministry has recommended NITE to start the Integrated BA Ed and BSc Ed programmes.
The NITE is also expected to play roll of advisor to National Council of Teacher Education and HRD Ministry on planning, research, funding, quality benchmarking and policy matters in teaher education.
