A Centre of Excellence in Information Technology established by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi with all the complex and State of the art infrastructure in place, IIIT—Allahabad announces admissions for its following 2 years MSA (IT) & MS (CLIS) Programs.

Eligibility: For MBA (IT): Graduate from any discipline with valid CAT score (GMAT score for FN / NRI’s)

For MS (CLIS): BE / B.Tech. / Post Graduates / LL.B. or equivalent.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examinations may also apply. (If the result is likely to be declared by 14th July, 2009)

Application procedure: Application Form-cum—Information Brochure can be obtained from the Institute in person or on request. The request letter must be super-scribed "Request for MBA (IT) / MS (CLIS) Program Application form”.



Application form with details is also available in the website http://www.iiita.ac.in . Cost of application form is Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates) to be paid in cash or through DD of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of “IIIT Allahabad”, payable at Allahabad.

In case of downloaded forms from website, DD may accompany the completed application form, without which it shell be summarily rejected.

Applications are invited for Three Year Part Time Programmes in MBA and MBA (Health Care Administration) beginning July, 2009



Eligibility: 1. For MBA (Part Time):

Every candidate seeking admission should have passed a bachelor’s degree examination of at least 3 years duration with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Relaxation on this criterion may be made for those who scored more than 55% marks in aggregate in their post graduate degree or at least 60% in a Diploma in Personnel Management, Diploma in Management, Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Diploma in Administrative Management of the Delhi University conducted by the Faculty prior to the implementation of this particular scheme.

Candidates should have at least three years experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial, industrial or government establishment after passing the Bachelor’s Degree Examination.

Three years Full-Time experience shall be determined as on 1st August , 2009.

Candidates must be sponsored by his/her present employer

2. MBA - Health Care Administration (Part Time):

Every candidate seeking admission to the course shall have passed a Bachelors’ Degree Examination in Medicine of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

He/She should have at least five years’ experience in Hospital Administration after acquiring the Bachelors’ Degree in Medicine.

Five years’ experience shall be determined as on 1st , 2009.

Candidate must be sponsored by his/her present employer.


Application procedure: MBA (PT) Application Forms are available from branches of State Bank of India (Connaught Circus, Delhi University North Campus, Delhi University South Campus, IIT Delhi, Lajpat Nagar, Ring Road) on cash payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW category). Applicants must enclose the bank counterfoil with the application.

Candidates may also apply online and pay. They must mail their sponsorship letter, category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW), three copies of computer-generated Admit Card formats (with Photograph, Mailing Address and Signature) and requisite Application Fee Bank draft (if not paid online) to FMS before 15.12.2008

MBA (HCA) Application Forms are available only from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi 110 007 against a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs.125/- for SC / ST/ OBC / PH / CW category) in favour of "The Registrar, University of Delhi".

Eligibility: The Programme is targeted at individuals with high potential for success in business and industry. Such individuals must have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (under 10+2+3 system) with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a University recognized by Association of Indian Universities / AICTE.

Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree are also eligible, provided they complete all formalities of their examination before June 30, 2009. Such candidates, on selection, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only. The deadline for submission of mark sheet and the certificate is October 1 , 2009. Non-fulfillment of this condition will automatically result in cancellation of the provisional admission.

Selection Process : The criteria for final selection are based on scores in CAT, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The evaluation for GD is based on English communication, team work, awareness, analysis & synthesis. The assessment for personal interview is based on subject knowledge and personality. Credit is also, given to the past academic achievements and work experience of the candidate. The admission offers are made on pure merit. The merit list is prepared for candidates who have qualified in the GD and Personal Interview, obtaining at least 40% marks. The rank of the student in the admission merit list is obtained by giving weights of 70%, 10% and 20% to the CAT, GD and Personal Interview scores respectively. Successful candidates will be informed of their final selection by speed post. The selected candidates must pay their first installment of fees within the stipulated time mentioned in the admission offer letter.
