Scholarship Scheme for SCs

Students in Class IX & X from 1st July, 2012

a) Eligibility: Annual parental Income should not exceed Rs 2 Lac per annum
b) Entitlement under the scheme: Monthly scholarship and annual books and ad-hoc grant

Scheme for Post-Matric Scholarship

a) Eligibility: Annual parental Income should not exceed Rs 2 Lac per annum
c) Entitlement under the scheme: Scholarship includes monthly maintenance allowance, study tour charges (one time), Thesis Typing / Printing Charges (One Time), Book Grant for Correspondence course (one time) and allowance for students with disabilities.

Pre-matric scholarship for children of those engaged in ‘unclean’ occupation

Entitlement under scheme:
a) Monthly Scholarship
b) Annual ad-hoc grant

Central Sector Scholarship scheme of Top Class Education for SC students 

Eligibility: Full tuition fee and non-refundable charges (ceiling of Rs 2lac per annum per student for private sector and Rs 3.72 lac per annum per student for the private sector flying clubs for commercial pilot training), living expenses, books and stationery, computer and accessories.

Central Sector Scheme of National Overseas Scholarship for SC Students

Eligibility:
a) Income ceiling: Total annual income from all sources of the candidate or his / her parents should not exceed Rs 25000 per month
b) Financial Assistance:
For USA and Other Countries except UK- Annual Maintenance Allowance of US Dollars $14000/-
For UK- Annual maintenance allowance of 9000 GBP

Scheme of Post Matric Scholarship to the Other Backward Classes (OBCs)

a) Eligibility: Annual parental income should not exceed Rs 1 Lac per annum
b) Entitlement under the scheme: Scholarship includes Monthly Maintenance Allowance, Study Tour Charges, Thesis Typing and Printing Charges, Allowance for correspondence course, Reader Charges for blind students etc

Scheme for Pre matric scholarship to the Other Backward Classes

a) Eligibility: Total Income from all sources of the parents / guardians should not exceed Rs 44500/- per annum
b) Entitlement under the Scheme: Covers monthly scholarship and one time annual ad-hoc grant both for hostellers and day scholars.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IITKGP)

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IITKGP) was the first Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) established in 1950 in Kharagpur, West Bengal state of India. The IIT Kharagpur is an institute of national importance and autonomous university free to offer its own courses and awards degrees and certificates. The institute offers many numbers of programs in engineering, sciences, and various technologies at undergraduate and postgraduate level and conducts research programs. Programs are also offered in humanities, medicine and law at postgraduate level.

The IIT Kharagpur offers admission into various programs on the basis of score in entrance examinations, like Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and many others. All regular programs offered at IIT Kharagpur are residential in nature; both students and staff members are provided with living facilities. Besides offering regular courses the IIT Kharagpur also offers special programs like continuing education programs, distance learning programs and short-term courses.

Cost Accountant Final Exam December 2013 / Cost Accountant Intermediate Exam Date December 2013

The Intermediate and Final Examinations of the Institute under both syllabi 2008 and 2013 will be held on 10 December 2013 to 17 December 2013 in 84 cities having 111 examination centers in India and 3 abroad Centers Dubai, Bahrain & Muscat. The date and other details of the Foundation Examination under both Syllabi 2008 and 2012 which will be conducted under online mode will only be communicated shortly.


The application form for the aforesaid examinations are available from the Institute’s Headquarters, Regional Councils and Chapters on payment of Rs 50 per form. In case of oversees candidates, forms are available at institute’s headquarters on payment of US $10 per form. The students can also download the examination form from Institute’s website: www.icmai.in

In case of downloaded forms no charge will be applicable for the cost of the examination form. The students can fill up and submit the application forms online at www.icmai.in and pay through the debit / credit card. In such case, the cost of the application forms will be waived. The students can also submit their application forms alongwith the requisite fees to be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India payble at Kolkata / Pay Fee (IDBI Bank). The application forms can be submitted at the Institute’s Headquarters, Regional Councils and the Chapter Offices.

The last date for receipt of examination application forms without late fee is 30 September 2013.
The last date for receipt of examination application forms with Late Fee of Rs 300 is 10 October 2013

In case of Online Examination application with payment gateway by using Debit / Credit Card, the late fee of Rs 300 will be waived if applied within 10 October 2013

IRMA Admission Notice 2014

The Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) will take in use CAT 2013 score for admission into Post Graduate Diploma Program in Rural Management (PRM) and 2014 Fellow Program in Rural Management (FPRM)


The Hon’ble Supreme Court decision on IRMA admission tests 2014 PRM and FPRM is pending. IRMA 2014 aspirants are requested to appear for CAT 2013.

Applications Forms for IRMA 2014 Admissions will be available online and in Hard Copy at IRMA Admission Office from September 25, 2013, onwards.

All applicants who apply to IRMA with CAT 2013 Score will appear for IRMA admission test on “Issues of Social Concern” subject to their application forms being complete and accepted by IRMA.
