The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) offers online admission for Secondary and Senior Secondary Courses under Stream-II for Unsuccessful Students of Recognized Boards


Examinations will be conducted in October 2014

Eligibility Criteria

The students who had appeared but could not succeed or were eligible to appear but could not appear in the Public Examination of Secondary or Senior Secondary in the same subject combination as in the parent board. Original Mark Sheet / Admit Card along with application form is must.

Flexibilities: (Transfer of Credits: TOC): Up to Plus 2 Passed subjects from the selected recognized boards.

Validity of Admission: Admission is valid for 5 years.

Public Examination of NIOS: The learners of this stream will be eligible to appear in the October – November 2014 Public Examination and thereafter in on December Examination / Public Examination.

Mode of Payment: Students have the options to deposit Fee through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / Bank Draft of any nationalized Bank drawn in Favour of Secretary, NIOS Payable at NOIDA for Delhi and NCR and for other Regional Centres, Secretary, NIOS payable at respective Regional Centre of NIOS by cash through any branch of Indian Bank or Union Bank.

Applications are invited on prescribed form to appear in the admission test for Admission to 1st Year MBBS Course 2014-15. The number of seats available under Management Quota through this Entrance Test is 77.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2014

The Union Public Service Commission (New Delhi) shall publish detailed notifications for Civil Services Examination 2014 on 31 May, 2014. According to press release published on UPSC Official Website the Government has decided to allow two additional attempts with consequential age relaxations to all categories of candidates w.e.f Civil Services Examination, 2014. However, the syllabus and exam pattern will be same like Civil Services Exam 2013.
