UGC NET November 2017

Did you appeared for UGC NET November 2017? Well. the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is uploading the scanned images of OMR answered sheet, recorded responses and answer key of candidates starting 12.12.2017 through 18.12.2017. Candidates can check and verify if recorded responses are same as put in OMR sheet. In case of errors, test takes can challenge it till 18.12.2017 till 11.59 pm. The applicable is Rs 1000 per question and can be paid through Credit Card / Debit Card. If the challenges made by candidates are found to be true, corrections shall be done and fees will be refunded. But in case of a false challenge fees submitted shall not be refunded. Entrance Examinations 2012 University of Hyderabad

1. The Entrance Examinations for various P.G. Degree Courses (other than those offered by the Sarojini Naidu School and M.Sc Mathematics, Statistics-OR, Physics, Health Psychology), M.Sc. (5-year Integrated ) courses in Sciences and M.A. (5-year Integrated) courses in Humanities and Social Scienes will consist of only a written test of 100 marks.

2. The entrance examinations in the case of MPA, MFA, and M.A. in Communication in the Sarojini Naidu School will consist of a written test and a practical test/interview.

3. The entrance examination for the M.Sc. Mathematics, Statistics-OR, Physics, and Health Psychology, M.Phil, Integrated M.Sc./Ph.D. Biotechnoogy; M.Tech. / Ph.D.
Materials Engineering, Nano Science and Technology and Ph.D. in different subjects will consist of a written test and an interview (after qualifying in the former). The written test will carry 75 marks and the interview 25 marks.

Admissions in M.Tech Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Technology, will be granted only on the basis of GATE scores in Computer
Science and Information Technology.

Admission in M.Tech IC Technology is based on the GATE scores in the order of merit in one of the following:

1) Electronics and Communication Engineering, 2) Instrumentation Engineering and 3) Physics followed by an interview for the short listed candidates. There is no written test for admission to this course.

Admission in M.Tech. Computational Techniques is based on the GATE scores in the order of merit in Physics or being qualified in UGC-CSIR NET for JRF followed by
an interview for the shortlisted candidates. There is no written test for admission to this course.

Admission in M.Tech. Bioinformatics is based on the percentile score obtained in GATE examination and followed by an interview. GATE in the following subjects will be considered:
Biotechnology – BT; Chemistry – CY; Mathematics - MA; Physics – PH; Agricultural Engineering – AG; Electronics & Communication Engg. – EC; Computer Science and Information Technology – CS; Chemical Engineering – CH.

The duration of the written test for all courses will be two hours.

Question Paper Structure

The question paper for the entrance test for all courses (except for Ph.D. in some subjects - please see the Chapter on ‘Schools of Study’ for further details) shall consist of two parts - Part-’A’ and Part- ‘B’. Part-‘A’ of the question paper shall necessarily consist of objective type questions preferably of one mark each for a total of 25 marks. The marks obtained by the candidates in Part ‘A’ will be used for resolving tie cases.
All the Schools/Departments/Centres will follow negative marking for Part- ‘A’ of the question paper. There will be negative marking of 0.33 mark for every wrong answer.
Those Schools/Departments/Centres, which may set the entire paper as “objective type”, may follow negative marking for Part- ‘B’ of the question paper as well.

Interviews for candidates short-listed for admission to M.Phil., M.Tech., and Ph.D. on the basis of written test and those exempted from written test (on the basis of UGC/CSIR JRF, RGNF/MANF, (NBHM, in the case of Ph.D. for Maths, ICMR/ ICAR/DBT Fellowship for Ph.D. in the School of Life Sciences), and ICMR Fellowship for Ph.D. in the School of Social Sciences, Integrated M.Tech./Ph.D. Materials Engineering, Nano Sceince and Technology, Integrated M.Sc./Ph.D. Biotechnology, M.Sc Mathematics, Statistics-OR, Physics, Health Psycology and the courses offered by the S.N. School are tentatively scheduled to be held between 5th July to 11th July
2012, in the respective Schools/ Departments/ Centres.

However, exact dates of the interview/practical test will be notified and made available on the University website for the information of the short listed candidates.

MP PEPT 2012

Madhya Pradesh Pre-Engineering Pharmacy Test (MP PEPT) 2012 for admission into 1st semester degree programs of Engineering and degree and diploma Pharmacy Courses offered by engineering and phramacy colleges of MP.

The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) is administering authority for MP PEPT 2012

Eligibility - MP PEPT 2012 General For All Aspirants

    You should be an Indian Citizen.
    You can also apply for MP PEPT 2012, if you have domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
    For domicile of MP, you should fulfil following conditions:

       1. You should have studied from an institute in M.P for at least 3 years.
       2. You should be a bonafide resident of MP.
       3. You should be son/daughter of an employee of M.P Government or its ex-employee or a Central Government/Defence/Railways/Post & Telegraph employee or ex-employee posted in M.P or a person settled in M.P under Government sanctioned resettlement act.

    You can apply for MP PEPT 2012, if you are appearing in your final year examination.
    You can appear in MP PEPT 2012 for admission to pharmacy courses, if you have cleared qualifying examination from open school.

Eligibility for B.E. Courses

    You should have scored 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biology as the third subject from any M.P state board school or any other recognized board.

Eligibility for B.Pharma & D.Pharma Courses

    You should have secured 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as main subjects and Mathematics, Biotechnology or Biology as the third subject from any M.P state board school or any other recognized board.

Application Procedure for MP PEPT 2012

    You can apply for MP PEPT 2012 by filling an online application form on official website of Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) (www.vyapam.nic.in) or www.mponline.gov.in
    You can submit application fee for MP PEPT 2012 of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST) online through Credit or Debit card or Net Banking.
    You can download your Test Admit Card (TAC) from official website of Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) (www.vyapam.nic.in). TAC will not be sent through post.    

Test Centres - MP PEPT 2012

MP PEPT 2012 will be conducted at Barwani, Balaghat, Betul, Bhopal, Burhanpur, Chhatarpur, Chhindwara, Dewas, Rajgarh, Dhar, Guna, Gwalior, Hoshangabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Ratlam, Rewa, Mandsaur, Sagar, Satna, Sehore, Shahdol, Tikamgarh, Vidisha, Ujjain, New Delhi, Lucknow, Patna and Raipur.  

Exam Pattern - MP PEPT 2012

    MP PEPT 2012 is a multiple choice question test of 3 hours. The MP PEPT 2012 consists of 200 questions from Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry.
    For admission to B.E. through MP PEPT 2012, you are required to attempt 100 questions of Mathematics, 50 questions of Physics and 50 questions of Biology or Chemistry or Biotechnology.
    For admission to B.Pharma/ D.Pharma through MP PEPT 2012, you are required to attempt 100 questions of Physics, 50 questions of Chemistry and 50 questions of Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology.
    There is no negative marking in MP PEPT 2012.

Eligibility Criteria

For M.Sc.

B.A. / B.Sc. in Economics / B.Com. / B.Stat. / B.Sc. (Physics or Mathematics) / B.Tech./ B.E. with at least a Second Division for Economics Discipline and First Division for other disciplines. The applicant must have studied mathematics at the higher secondary level or should be able to demonstrate equivalent mathematical ability.

For Development Studies:

M.Stat./ M.Sc.(Physics or Mathematics or Environmental Science or Operations Research)

M.B.A./ M.Tech./ M.E./ B.Tech./B.E.

With at least 55% aggregate marks for Economics discipline and 60% aggregate marks for other disciplines. The applicant must have studied mathematics at the higher secondary level or should be able to demonstrate equivalent mathematical ability.
