Eligibility

1. B.E. Degree Programmes (Four Academic years):

i. A pass in H.Sc.(Academic) with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry (OR)
ii. A pass in H.Sc.(Vocational Stream) with Mathematics or Physics & related vocational subjects (OR)
iii. Diploma in any one of the Programmes viz., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical and Computer Science & Engineering (OR)
iv. Any other equivalent examination approved by the Annamalai University with

2. B.E.(Part-Time) 3 Years

i. A pass in Diploma course in the related subjects viz., Civil/Civil & Structural/Architecture/Mechanical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Communication / Computer Science & Engg./Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics Egg./ Information Technology Chemical conducted by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or its equivalent examination with 3 years professional experience in a recognized industry or organisation after passing the Diploma Examination,

ii. The admission is restricted to those working or residing within a radius of 75 km from Annamalainagar.

iii. The application should be sent through their employers. However the advance copy with all documents complete in all respect should be received before the last date. The application through proper channel is to be received before entrance test.

Minimum Experience on 01-07-2008 3 years after passing Diploma Course
Examinations. Entrance Examination and interview will be conducted on 01-07-2008 Forenoon at Annamalainagar.

3. B.Pharm. Degree programme (Four Academic Years):

I. A Pass in H.Sc. Examination OR an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Botany & Zoology/ Mathematics / Bio-Technology/ Computer Science. For SC/ST Candidates the minimum qualification is a pass in the above subjects.

ii. A Pass in Diploma in Pharmacy Course as per New Educational regulations of Pharmacy Council of India.

iii. A Pass in B.Sc, Degree in One Attempt with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology and Computer Science subjects either at the Plus Two level OR at the Graduate level

4. D.Pharm. Programme (Two Academic Years):

I. A Pass in H.Sc Examination OR an equivalent examination with Physics,Chemistry and Biology/ Botany & Zoology/Mathematics,

ii. A Pass in B.Sc. Degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects either at the Plus Two Level OR at the Graduate level.

AGE LIMIT: B.Pharm., and D.Pharm., Programmes: The Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31 st December 2008. (No request for relaxation of the age limit will be entertained).

5. M.E/M.Tech/M.C.A. Degree programmes

For MCA:

A Pass in a three year Bachelor`s Degree with at least 55% in Part-Ill of any recognized University with Mathematics as compulsory subject at Plus Two level OR equivalent thereof:

For SC/ST Candidates: A Pass in a Three Year Bachelor Degree of any recognized University with Mathematics as compulsory subject at Pius Two level OR equivalent thereof:

Master of Science:

A Pass in B.Sc. Degree Examinations in Computer Science OR Applied Science OR Computer Technology OR Mathematics OR Statistics OR Physics OR Electronics OR B.E. Computer Science & Engineering OR Electrical OR Electronics and Communication OR Instrumentation.

Master of Pharmacy

How to Apply: Application form and prospectus can be obtained from THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR - 608 002 from the date scheduled above on payment of prescribed fee noted above in Person OR by sending a Demand Draft obtained on or after 12-05-2008 drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR from ANY BANK, payable at CHENNAI along with a self addressed stamped Thick Kraft envelope of size 30 cm x 24 cm (stamps affixed to the value of Rs.30/-) with the name of the Programme for which the application is required should be superscripted boldly on the envelope. The Name of the Programme should be clearly indicated in the requisition letter. The Name and Address of the Candidate and Programme for which Application is made should be clearly indicated on the back side of the Demand Draft also.
