Eligibility: A Bachelors Degree in Architecture or equivalent recognized by the Council of Architecture. Candidates appearing for the final examinations can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, provided they complete all requirements for obtaining the degree latest by date of registration for first semester. In addition, they must produce evidence of having passed in their degree examination by October 31st of the current academic year. The candidates must obtain the minimum marks in the assessment done by Admission Committee set up by Faculty of Architecture to qualify for Admission.

The assessment consists of Design Portfolio Evaluation, Written Examination and Personal Interview. The minimum required is 50% in weighted average of the above criteria for general category, 45% for SEBC and 40% for SC/ST/NT/DNT category. Reservation and quota for NRI/Foreign nationals/ Persons of Indian origin as per Govt. norms amended from time to time.

Application procedure: Eligible candidates should write to Chairman, Admissions, Urban Design Program along with a D.D., on Nationalized Banks at Ahmedabad of Rs.500/-(US $20 for foreign students) in favour of ‘School of Architecture’, Ahmedabad -380009 for application forms and details. The application form can be down loaded from our website also and must be submitted with the
D.D. Candidates need to apply with a copy of portfolio of design work (A-4 Size). All eligible candidates should appear for the interview.
