Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the admission to M.Tech. (2 years/4 semesters) in Digital Signal Processing (10 Seats) and Biotechnology (25 Seats) 2008-10 batch commencing from July 2008

Eligibility

For M.Tech. (Digital Signal Processing): Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in anyone : B.Tech./B.E. (4 years UG Course in Electronics & Comm./Electrical Engg./Computer Sc. & Engg. /Control & Inst. Engg./ Instrumentation Engg.) / M.Sc. in Physics (Electronics) or its equivalent as specified by Govt. of Uttarakhand/India.





For M.Tech. (Bio-Technology) : A Bachelor's degree (4 years Program) in any of the following : Pharmaceutical/ Veterinary/Medical/Agricultural Sciences - OR Engineering subjects/Physical Sciences with adequate knowledge of Chemical/Biological Sciences (with minimum 60% of aggregate).

For Pure Science students, M.Sc. passed out candidates (10+2+3+2
system) Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Environment
Sciences/ Chemistry (with specialization in organic chemistry) etc. with minimum 60% of aggregate.

Note : Relaxation of 5% maks for SC/ST candidates. Preference will
be given to the candidates having Valid GATE Score card. There is a
provision for Scholarship/Stipend to the GATE Qualified candidates
as per AICTE norms.

Reservation: As per Govt. rules.

Application Fee : Rs. 200/- only for General/OBC candidates : Rs. 100/- only for SC/ST candidates by Demand Draft issued from any nationalized bank drawn in favour of "Principal, G.B. Pant Engineering College, Pauri (Garhwal)" payable at Pauri.
