Date of Issue: Monday, December 29, 2008

Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (Proximate Education) in collaboration with NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad

This diploma is conducted on the distance education model.

(1) Eligibility: A Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.

(2) Course Duration: 9 months

(3) Tuition fees: Rs.10,000/-

(4) Subjects of study:

(i) Paper-I: ADR Methods

(ii) Paper-II: Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996

(iii) Paper-III: International Commercial Arbitration

(iv) Paper-IV: Commercial Law

(v) Paper-V: Family Law

The candidates are required to submit a Project Report on a topic related to Alternative Dispute Resolution, as part of the diploma course.

(5) Cost of Prospectus-cum-Application Form: Rs.250/-

The application form will be available either by cash or by Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of "ICADR", payable at Hyderabad.

Contact Classes will be held for three days at notified centers, viz., New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad, on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday which will be intimated to the candidates in advance. Course-end written examination will be held at notified centers.

This diploma was started in the year 2005 and is being conducted on all-India basis.
