The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announces Class 10th Examination Results today. CBSE is the Apex Body of Government of India and largest national education board affiliating schools across length and breadth of the country. The Class X Certificate makes deciding factor for students’ career.
This is the stage at which students chose between study streams Science / Arts / Commerce / Vocational Education etc. Admission to class 11th is generally offered on the basis if marks obtained in Class 10 Examination. However, some institutes / schools also conducts entrance test for admission. Besides CBSE, India has many other State Boards too and national boards like CISCE. Admissions criteria are similar across all education boards but may differ slightly.
