The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) New Delhi conducts Combined Defence Services Examination twice every year.The Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2018 / CDS (I) 2018 is on schedule now. Following are important dates
Candidates qualified in the written test shall be called for Personality Test / Interview by Service Selection Board (SSB).
The commission shall contact all applicants online regarding any communication. All applicants shall have a valid email id while applying online for CDS (I) Examination 2018. Make sure the Email Id you use during filling application shall remain active till examinations are over and you are selected in the one of the services of the Indian Defence Forces.
The CDS is Objective Type Examination. You will attract penalty for wrong answers. Guess work is a complete NO. If you do not know the correct answer of a question, do not attempt it. Remember, even a small mistake in such competitive exam may cost you dearly. CDS is competitive examination. Though minimum educational qualification to appear for the test is Graduate degree, but the level of questions asked are truly high.

2.Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala—Course commencing in January, 2019 Executive (General Service) [including 06 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders --- 45
(Naval Wing)].
3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad—(Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in February, 2019 i.e. No. 205 F(P) Course. --- 32
4. Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras)—109th SSC (Men) Course (NT) commencing in April, 2019. (including 50 vacancies for NCC ‘C’
certificate holders for NCC Spl. Entry) --- 225
5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai—23rd SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in April, 2019. --- 12

If you are a graduate or in final year of graduation you can apply for CDS Examination (I) 2018 and work with Indian Defence Forces.
