Eligibility Criteria

A candidate can appear in Entrance Test for PG courses is three subjects only.

For admission in practical subjects candidate should have studied the subject in graduation. Candidates appearing at the final examination of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Application Procedure

The Application form can be obtained in person from cash counter of the university or by post from the ‘Office of The Coordinator, Entrance Test, Administrative Block, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal) Uttarakhand – 246 174’ with the prescribed fee and a self addressed envelope of size 32cmX25cm.

Request for application must be superscribed on the envelope “Request for application form for admission 2011 (Course Name)”

Application forms can also be downloaded from the university website. Filled in applications should be submitted to the university with the prescribed fee through Demand Draft in favor of “Finance Officer, HNB Garhwal University” payable at Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand”

The Cost of Application-cum-Examination Fee – Rs.250/- for general candidates (Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST/PH candidates) for each course. Candidates desirous of applying for more than one PG course need to apply separately in application form with fee as prescribed.

Duly completed application form should be sent by Registered/Speed Post to “The Coordinator (Entrance Test 2011), Administrative Block, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Garhwal, Uttarakhand – 246 174”. Common Law Admission Test : CLAT-2011

Common Law Admission (CLAT) 2011 schedule for entrance examination and admission into LLB and LLM law programs of National Law Universities of India has been announced. The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata is the administering authority for CLAT 2011.


Courses Offered

For admission to under-graduate and Post-graduate Law Programmes – 2011 at the National Law Universities listed below, candidates who are Indian national must appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT- 2011):

NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, NLIU Bhopal, WBNUJS Kolkata, NLU Jodhpur, HNLU Raipur, GNLU Gandhinagar, RMLNLU Lucknow, RGNUL Patiala, CNLU Patna and NUALS Kochi.

Submission of online application form, document verification & confirmation at ARC for admission to first year of four year degree courses in Engineering/ Technology in State Government/ Aided Colleges, University Managed Institutes, University Departments, Such Unaided colleges and/or such number of seats from Unaided colleges.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum eligibility criteria for applying to admission to these courses are as mentioned in the Information Brochures issued at the time of submission of application form for MHT-CET 2010 and to be issued at the time of submission of online application form.

Application Procedure

The “Online Application Form” is being made available to only those eligible candidates, who are desirous of seeking admission to the aforesaid colleges through centralised Admission Process on the official website www.dte.org.in/fe2010 .

Aspiring candidates are required to fill in the Online Application Form, take the printout of the Online Application Form and Confirm the Online application form in person along with duly signed printout of the Online Application form, required documents (both originals & attested copies) at the Application Form Receipt Center (ARC) listed below as per schedule.

The merit list of eligible candidates for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) will be displayed on website.

Applications of Maharashtra State, OMS and AIEEE candidates received by post at ARC/DTE office will be rejected and no communication will be done with the candidate.

The Information Brochure containing Institute Information, course wise sanctioned intake, choice codes, Instructions to fill in the online option form of each CAP rounds, Rules of Eligibility to participate in CAP Rounds etc. will be made available to all eligible Candidates free of cost after showing Receipt –cum- Identity Card or Score card of MHT-CET 2010 at the ARCs, before filing up the Online Application form.

Candidates should carefully go through the entire Information Brochure and follow the instructions set out therein for further course of selection and admission. Kindly note that non-compliance with any of the provisions set out in the Information Brochure will result in rejection of claim for admission.

Note:

1. It is MANDATORY for all eligible aspiring Maharashtra State, AIEEE-2010 (Paper-1) qualified and J&K Migrant candidates to submit and confirm Online application form for Engineering/Technology.

2. AIEEE and J&K Migrant candidates should draw D.D./ Pay Order of specified amount on any Scheduled/Nationalised/Commercial Bank in favour of “The Director, Technical Education, Maharashtra State” Payable at Mumbai.

3. AIEEE-2010 (Paper-1) qualified candidates applying for Engineering/ Technology Courses: Such candidates should confirm the application form at ARC, along with a DD/Pay order of Rs. 700/- (Rs.500/- in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State).

4. Maharashtra State candidates aspiring for admission against AIEEE seats, if they are AIEEE-2010 (Paper-1) qualified, should apply for All India Seats (AIEEE) through the same application form along with DD.

5. J & K Migrant Candidates applying for Engineering/ Technology courses: Such candidates should send print out of duly filled in and signed online application form and attested copies of required documents for confirmation along with a DD/Pay order of Rs. 700/- to: The Principal, Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Versova Road, Munshi Nagar, Andheri (West), Mumbai-400 058.

6. If the candidate fails to confirm the online filled application form at ARC, then such online filled application will be rejected and name of such candidate will not appear in the merit list(s) prepared for the purpose of CAP. Such candidates whose names do not appear in the merit list(s) will not be able to participate in entire Centralized Admission Process.

The candidates are required to carry ALL Original Certificates and one set of attested true copies of these documents as mentioned in information brochure issued at the time of submission of application form for MHT-CET 2010. The kiosk will charge in cash, a processing fee of Rs. 50/- as approved by government over and above the application form fee of Rs. 400/- charged by the University. In all, the student will have to pay Rs. 450/- to the authorized kiosk (cyber café) for submission of a single application form. Handbooks will be available w.e.f from 10-06-2010 and can be obtained from the University Enquiry and Information Centre, Puniabi University, Patiala on payment of Rs. 700/- in cash at the counter or through post by sending a demand draft for Rs. 700/- in favour of Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala, along with self- addressed envelop 10”X12” stamped with Rs. 60/- postage charges.

Handbook of Information can also be obtained from our Regional Centres/ Neighbourhood Campuses situated at Bathinda, Talwandi Sabo, Rampura Phul and Mohali.

Handbook of information and Application Forms etc. can also be downloaded from the university website (www.puniabiuniversity.ac.in ). Candidates can apply on these forms. However, in this case they will have to deposit Rs. 700/- along with the admission form, otherwise the admission forms will not be entertained.

Special Admission Announcement 2009 – 2010

Mainly for the attention of SC, ST, OBC & PH candidates

In continuation of the Admission Announcement 2009-2010 dated 31.03.2009. Published in all leading news papers including Eenadu / Hindu, Indian Express, Andnra Jyothi, Times of India etc., inviting Applications for admission to post-graduate and research programmes
during 2009-2010 the following is notified for the benefit of prospective SC, ST, OBS & PH applicants.

1. i) 15%, 7.5% seats in each course are reserved for SC and ST candidates respectively with a provision for interchangeability between SC & ST wherever necessary. Upto 3% of approved intake in each course are provided as supernumerary seats for Physically Challenged Candidates. and ii) For admission to Integrated Masters degree, PG and PG Diploma courses, a relaxation of marks in the minimum eligible conditions for admission to SC ,ST, PH candidates is provided. The cut-off marks in the entrance examination (both written and interview put together) for these candidates will be 20% lower than the cutoff marks prescribed for General Category. iii) For admission to M.Phil., M.Tech., and Pn.D., a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility condition is provided to SC ,ST, PH candidates. iv) Seats available in the University Hostels will be provided to SC, ST candidates as per G.O.I. norms., v) These students may avail social welfare and other Govts. scholarships as per their eligibility. vi) Remedial courses in English and other subjects will be arranged, for SC, ST if necessary and vii) Candidates claming reservation under the above categories must enclose an attested copy of the Certificate on their claim whit out which claim will not be considered.

2. 27% of the seats in each course are reserved for OBC (Non creamy layer ) candidates. There s no relaxation on the minimum qualification for admission and cost of application cum prospectus for OBCs.

The cut-off marks in the entrance examination (both written and interview put together) for OBC Candidates would be 10% lower than the cutoff marks prescribed for General Category.

Prospectus cum Application forms can be obtained in person from the Academic Section, Office of the Controller of Examination, Administration Building, University Campus, Hyderabad – 500 046 or from Golden Threshold [GT) premises of the University at Nampally Station Road, Hyderabad -500 001, against cash payment of Rs.150/- for SC, ST & PH Candidates and Rs.400/- for OBC Candidates.

The forms can also be downloaded from the University website available for downloading for up to 30.04.2009 and submit along with the prescribed fee of Rs.75/- in the case of Sc/St & PH and Rs. 200/- in case of OBC.

Filled in applications along with the necessary enclosures should be submitted well in advance so as to reach the Dy. Registrar (Acad & Exams), Office of the Controller of Examinations, University of Hyderabad, either in person or by post on or before 30.04.2009. Applications received after the date will not considered.

In partial modification to the Admission Announcement 2009-10 dated 30.03.2009 appeared between 31 March to 4th April, 2009 in different leading dailies viz., Eeenadu, The Hindu, Indian Express, Times of India, Hindustan Times etc., the following may be noted :

Admission to 5-year Integrated Master of Science in Health Psychology and also Nursing Sciences will be through the University Entrance Test followed by an interview. The written test for the Health Psychology will be held as was already notified. The written test for Nursing Sciences will be held at 10.00 am on 05.06.2009.

Eligibility: For UG Programmes: Candidates with more than 50 percent marks in aggregate with Mathematics as the subject of examination at 10+2 level are eligible for admission to the first year of the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Architecture and Planning.
