Common Law Admission Test : CLAT-2011

Common Law Admission (CLAT) 2011 schedule for entrance examination and admission into LLB and LLM law programs of National Law Universities of India has been announced. The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata is the administering authority for CLAT 2011.


Courses Offered

For admission to under-graduate and Post-graduate Law Programmes – 2011 at the National Law Universities listed below, candidates who are Indian national must appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT- 2011):

NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, NLIU Bhopal, WBNUJS Kolkata, NLU Jodhpur, HNLU Raipur, GNLU Gandhinagar, RMLNLU Lucknow, RGNUL Patiala, CNLU Patna and NUALS Kochi.

Eligibility Criteria

UNDER-GRADUATE PROGRAMME (LLB)

10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC and Persons with Disability category candidates (Candidates taking qualifying examination in March/April 2011 are eligible to apply).

Age limit: 20 years for General and OBC & 22 years for SCIST and Persons with Disability category candidates as on July 1, 2011.

POST- GRADUATE PROGRAMME (LLM)

LLB or equivalent examination with minimum 55% marks for general and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC & Persons with Disability category candidates (Candidates taking qualifying examination in March/April 2011 are eligible to apply)

Application Procedure

Application Forms (OMR SHEET) along with Information Brochure can be obtained w.e.f. 11 January 2011 from the mentioned law universities and post offices across India (for list of post offices, visit CLAT website: www.clat.ac.in) on payment of Rs. 150/-. .

Request for Application Form/Brochure can also be sent to the Convenor, CLAT- 2011, at the below mentioned address with a Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- drawn in favor of - "WBNUJS, CLAT A/c“, payable at Kolkata.

CLAT - 2009 - NALSAR University of Law





Date of exam: May, 17, 2009

Date of Submission: 10th April, 2009.

Eligibility: Under-Graduate Programmes

1. Eligibility: 10+2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST OBC and Persons with Disability.

(Students taking qualifying examination in March/April 2009 are also eligible to apply).

2. Age limit: Not more than 20 years in case of General and 22 years in case of SC / ST / 0BC and Persons with Disability as on 1st July, 2009.

Post-graduate Programme (EXCEPT FOR NLU, JODHPUR)

1. Eligibility: 55% marks in aggregate in LL.B. / B.L. (50% marks in case of SC / ST/ OBC and persons with disability

Application procedure: i) Printed Application Forms along with the CLAT-2009 information Brochure will be available at the designated branches (refer www.clat.ac.in ) of the Indian Bank, State Bank of India, or in any of Law Schools mentioned below against payment of Rs .2500/- only (Rs.2000/- in case of SC/ST on proof) inclusive of test fee and bank charges.

ii) Request for Application form may be sent to the Convenor, CLAT-2009, NALSAR University of Law, 3-4-761 Barkatpura, Hyderabad—500 027, with a demand draft for Rs.2500/- (Rs. 2000/-in case of SC/ST) drawn in favour of the Convenor, CLAT-2009 (NALSAR) and payable at Hyderabad.

iii) Applications can also be downloaded from www.clat.ac.in .

iv) The duly filled in Application Form along with the DD and other enclosures should be sent to the Convenor, CLAT 2009 at the address mentioned.
