Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who are appearing for Higher Secondary OR Equivalent Qualifying Examinations during March - May 2010 and Candidates who have already passed H.Sc. OR Other Equivalent Qualifying Examinations are eligible to apply for these Entrance Examinations.

Cost of Application Form: SC / ST Candidates: Rs.200/-
Others: Rs.400/-

Application forms can be obtained IN PERSON by CASH payment at the University Cash Counter on all working Days. (Holidays: All Saturday, Sunday and other Government Holidays).

To get Application forms by POST the candidate should sand a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.400/- (Except SC/ ST Candidates) For SC/ST candidates they have to send a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 200/- along with a Certificate as specified above.

The DEMAND DRAFT should be drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR - 608002 obtained on OR after 20.02.2010 from ANY BANK Payable at CHENNAI and a self- addressed KRAFT Envelope of Size 35 cm X 15 cm with Stamps affixed to the value of Re.15/-.
candidates are advised to write their Name and Address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.

Application forms will be sent ONLY BY ORDINARY POST and the University will not be held responsible for non-receipt of Application forms.

Exam Schedule:
Paper 1: Biology (Botany & Zoology): 11.05.2010 (Forenoon)
Paper 2: Physical Sciences (Physics & Chemistry): 11 .05.2010 (Afternoon)
Paper 3: Mathematics: 12.05.2010 (Forenoon)

Questions for the above Examinations will be based only on the Syllabi and Text Books prescribed for the Second year of the Tamil Nadu H.Sc. (Academic) Course.
Admission will be made on the basis of Marks obtained in the relevant
Subjects in the Qualifying Examination (H.Sc. OR Equivalent) and in the Entrance Examinations, with weightage of Marks 200 and 100 respectively.
SC / ST Candidates desirous of obtaining the Application Forms at the
concessional rates should submit e Certificate obtained from the Head of the Institution last studied / studying in the format given.

1. Applications on the prescribed forms are invited from the candidates including Kashmiri Migrants for admission to Ph.D. programme in the following disciplines for the academic session 2009-10.

Eligibility: An Overall Credit Point Average (OCPA) of 7.00 (out of 10.00) or 70% marks or equivalent at Master's level in the respective or related discipline and an OCPA of 5.50 (out of 10.00) or 55% marks or equivalent at the Bachelor’s level, 5% marks are reduced for candidates belonging to reserved categories. .

For Biotechnology: M.Sc Biotechnology/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Life Sciences.

Application procedure: The information Brochure for self supporting programme in the discipline of Biotechnology and prospectus for other disciplines, along with application forms containing details about the admission procedure, reservation of seats etc. can be obtained from the Additional Director of Communication, Centre for Communication and International Linkages, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, either by sending Bank Draft for Rs. 1155/- and Rs. 785/- respectively drawn in his favour and payable at any scheduled Bank at Ludhiana or personally at the counter from 9.30 A.M. to 4.30 PM. on all working days on payment of Rs.1100/- and Rs. 725/- respectively in cash.

The information Brochure self supporting programme and prospectus along with application forms will be sent under postal certificate. The University will not be responsible for postal delay or loss in transit.

Completed application forms must reach the office of the Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana latest by 17.11.2009 without late fee and 25.11.2009 with late fee of Rs.1,000/-.

Eligibility: B Sc Forestry/Horticulture/Agriculture 4-year Programme B.Sc with an OGPA of 6.00/10.00 or its equivalent under course credit system or 60% marks under annual system from a recognized University. In addition, graduates in Animal Husbandry and Graduates with Economics are also eligible for Agro forestry and Agricultural Economics, respectively.

Application procedure: PROSPECTUS CUM APPLICATION FORM for admission will be available from the Registrar, Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan (HP) after 17th May, 2009 on payment of Rs. 300.00 in cash at counter or by sending bank draft worth Rs. 350.00 payable at State Bank of Patiala/UCo Bank, Nauni in the name of the Comptroller of the University. Admission to MBA (Agri-Business) Programme for the academic session 2009-10.

Eligibility: For General category: 60% marks (aggregate) in Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Veterinary and Animal Science, Dairy Technology, Home Science, Fisheries, Horticulture and Science Graduates are eligible to apply

For SC & ST: 55 % marks (aggregate) in Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Veterinary and Animal Science, Dairy Technology, Home Science, Fisheries, Horticulture and Science Graduates are eligible to apply.

Application procedure: The application form and prospectus will be available on the university web site www.pusavarsity.org.in / www.rauabm.org.in w.e.f. 15.05.2009 from where these can be downloaded.

The application form and prospectus can also be obtained from the office of the Registrar, RAU, Pusa/ Principal, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna from 15.05.2009 to 10.06.2009 on all working days.
