List of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Job Titles

Many computer science students and non-computer science students both might be looking to work with Artificial Intelligence (AI) companies. Many have questioned how to apply for one such job where I can get to work with AI. Job boards are many and filtering related job titles is not easy. And there are jobs for everyone. Of course a large share of the job portion will go to those who are related with Machine Learning, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. However, students of other study streams need not get disappointed be it Mathematics or History or Healthcare, name any field, sooner or later AI will be part of the work environment. This is going to be the same as Computers. Now you can see Desktop and Laptop in very tiny setups. Here is a list of AI related job titles.

This listing is growing and very soon you will get details about these job titles here. However do feel free to ask your questions that will make my work easy to develop this post and many others already in this blog.

Why teachers need to caution class over AI hallucination

In the good old days, all of us who are probably from the 90s generation or around teachers used to caution the classroom about various things which were probably social or not so social. For example, good habits-bad habits, good behavior-bad behavior, good food-bad food, good time to study-not so good time to study and of course obedience.

Now, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a new social and Hallucination comes with it.

If I go back in the memory lane, during my not so earning days my father used to give me money for travel, which often happens using Indian Railways and often for a General Class Ticket. Well, Railways have in place security forces, when you are traveling you are supposed to be safe. But once he handed over the money he always used to say in his own language, travel carefully. A teen or little above like me will always be like, Oh, I am grown up, I can take care of myself, don't worry.

Often I am soft spoken, even if I am angry then too, I pretend, I am not. Once a person stumbled upon me, he started talking and told me he knows us. Well, so why to ignore him. And he took advantage of some dark space to stab me. Roughly for 10 days where I was, who knows. I don't know how I was breathing in those 10 days or so.

Sorry for my words but most anti-social elements are found in most social places. I hope you would agree with me even partially.

Now Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the place, its a new social, a new form of Machine Learning that works on Large Language Models (LLMs). Students are bound to ask AI for many things, perhaps Pythagoras Theorem , the color of Venus or how silicone works or maybe more. AI is going to be part of our daily lives in one form or the other. It will stay with us till the next best tech things happen to perform tasks that AI can.

Today's students cannot do away with AI, say by chance or choice both. Perhaps if you will tell a generation of next decade that 20/30 year back from now on there was no Google Map, and we used to ask address of relatives from strangers, they won't trust or will ask why you not used google map then or may be AI?

And here come the responsibilities of Guides, Career Coaches, Medical Doctors, Counselors, School Teachers, and Parents and everyone who lives in society to caution young learners about Precautionary Use of Artificial Intelligence. Here, I mean to say, if you are someone who deals with humans, maybe you are an instructor, a fitness coach, a tour guide or whoever, tell your people to use AI with responsibility.

Any new thing and especially tech things are bound to slow adoption. If we try to adopt them fast, perhaps outcomes are comparatively much negative. Optimum use of AI is important in today's world environment. Overuse of it will lead to damage, may be temporary, but Murphy's law applies here, if something may go wrong, it will go wrong.

Students when using AI for knowledge, should develop a habit of checking and cross checking facts and figures before believing in it. It's important. In academia, wise use of AI must be encouraged so the next generation we can give better AI tools instead of passing the same old things. It's not about AI versions, indeed it's about AI with vision.

Any scientific invention and innovation is blind when overused without open eyes and open ears. Hallucination in AI will keep happening,  there are companies like IBM and many putting efforts to understand and spread knowledge about AI uses. And here is a beautiful article that I received as a newsletter of IBM in my email  "The hidden incentives driving AI hallucinations".

Hallucinations are not new. According to Oxford Dictionary- Hallucinations are seeing or hearing something that is not really there (because you are ill or have taken a drug). What you hear or see that you will tell to other people, right? So in case of information hallucination, it implies to misleading information, spreading words without fact check. Everyone cannot check fact, people is bound to believe and talk.

AI models are trained by people like you and me, perhaps those are better people than me, but it's compulsory that what they teach AI models is definitely correct. How AI models are trained is a serious question, many AI companies won't like to answer. However, AI models should be trained responsibly. Any training that is not based on scientific facts may be misleading. This is why teachers should not only warn students about Pros and Cons of AI models but they should use AI models and various AI models in classroom settings so students can learn how to use an AI tool.

Remember technology is a tool. Use AI with responsibility.

Here is a beautiful article about AI systems title The effects of over-reliance on AI dialogue systems on students' cognitive abilities: a systematic review

and here is an article from Harvard title Embracing Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom
