The council also recommended that the syllabus for JEE Main and JEE Advanced should be identical. For 2014 admission onwards the council agreed upon setting up a committee to look into the currenttly proposed admission process through JEE. It is to be noted that by now all IITs are agreed to offer admission into under graduate programs 2013 on the basis of new JEE. While admission into 2014 its likely that IITs will come up with certain recommendations.
