Fellow Programme in Management FPM 2012 – 2016

The FPM is a doctoral program designed to develop and equip students for career opportunity in management education and research in the following faculty areas of specialization:

IIFM Bhopal FPM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must not be more than 45 year as on 1st July 2011 and must qualify the following eligibility tracks :

1. A Bachelors Degree with atleast 50 percent marks, and

2. Masters degree (minimum two years prescribed duration after 10+2+3 years of formal education) in relevant discipline (relevancy has to be decided by the IIFM) with at least 55% marks including Five year/Four year Integrated masters Degree programme and with good academic records. (OR)

4 year/8 Semester B.Tech/ B.E with 60% Marks or Equivalent OGPA. (OR)

Professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with atleast 55% marks. (OR)

For IIFM Graduates, who have done PGDFM and IIM graduates who have done PGDM, the minimum OGPA of 3.00 in 4.33 maximum scale, is required. (OR)

For MRM Post graduates from IIFM, with 3.00 CGPA.

Note: For those qualifications where the above 4.33 scale is not available, the eligibility will be decided by the Equivalence Committee constituted by the Director, IIFM and its decision will be final.

IIFM Bhopal FPM Application Form - How To Apply

Candidates should download the application form from the institute’s website www.iifm.ac.in

A demand draft for Rs.200 in favour of ‘Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal payable at Bhopal, should be sent with the filled in application form towards application fee.

Alternatively, The FPM application form and bulletin from IIFM will be despatched to the candidates soon after receiving their requests alongwith the required application fee. IIFM will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss. If a candidate, after having made a request to IIFM with the requisite money, does not receive the application form, she/he may enquire about it through Phone, Fax or E-mail.

Admission to PG course in Unani Medicine

Admissions to Mahire TIB – M.D. (Unani) & Mahire Jarahat – M.S. (Unani) Courses 2012

Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes:

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate must have obtained the Kamile Tib o Jarahat (BUMS) degree or any other degree in Unani Medicine as recognized by CCIM and must have completed the 06 months/ 12 months internship/ house job as the case may be, on or before 30th September 2011.

The right of admission of any candidate, who has not completed the internship by 30th September 2011, stands automatically cancelled.

Application Form - How To Apply


A candidate must apply for admission on prescribed Application Form. Application Forms, Instructions and other details can be downloaded from the Institute’s website http://www.nium.in from 1st October 2011. Application forms will not be sent by post to the candidates.

1. Entrance Test Fees payment has to be made through Challan System (Form 1) in State Bank of India Branches.

2. The Challan can be downloaded from the Institute’s website or can be collected from Academic Section of the Institute

3. The receipt of the Challan for payment of requisite fees duly signed and sealed by the SBI Branch has to be attached along with the application form compulsorily.

4. In case of non attachment of the challan receipt against the payment of fee, the application is liable to be rejected.

5. The details of fees to be paid inclusive of Bank charges are as under:

General: Rs.1025/-
SC / ST Category: Rs. 525/-
OBC (belonging to the creamy layer): Rs.1025/-
PH: Rs.1025/-
GOI Nominee/In-Service: Rs.1025/-

The candidate must ensure that the filled in application form completed in all aspects along with challan towards Entrance test fee should reach the office of “The Director, National Institute of Unani Medicine, Kottigepalya, Magadi Main Road, Bangalore-560091 on or before 25th October 2011.

The envelope containing the Form should be super scribed “Application for P.G.E.T. (Unani)”. Application Forms received after 25th October 2011 or incomplete Application Form in any respect will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Admission to Two Year Full Time MBA and Ph.D. Programmes 2012

University of Delhi- DU - FMS Eligibility Criteria

MBA : Candidates applying for admission to the 2-year Full-Time MBA must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelors Degree programme after 12 years of formal schooling. The minimum requisite percentage of marks (in aggregate) in a bachelor degree in different disciplines

Arts, Commerce or Social Science - 50%; Sciences - 55%; Mathematics or Statistics • 60%: Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00. OR Post-Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor’s / Post-Graduate Degree examination may also apply.

DOCTORAL PROGRAMME : Candidates seeking admission to FMS Doctoral Programme, are required to take the Common Admission Test CAT 2011 conducted by Indian Institutes of Management during October 22, 2011 to November 18. 2011. Work experience minimum of two years is mandatory for all candidates.

Candidates exempted from the admission test are required to apply to FMS on the prescribed form alongwith a demand draft of Rs.250/- drawn in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi, by 31st January, 2012.

University of Delhi- DU - FMS Application Form - How To Apply

Applicants can register themselves for admission to M.B.A. (Full-time) and Ph.D. Programmes through FMS website www.fms.edu by filling up online registration forms and by paying the requisite fee of Rs.750/- (Rs.200/- for SC / ST / Physically Challenged category) for each programme, during September 21 to November 30, 2011 .

Admission to M.B.A. (Full-Time) and Ph.D. Programmes will be based on personal interview, group discussion and CAT-2011 score Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institutes of Management during October 22. 2011 to November 18. 2011).

A candidate may apply for one or more programmes of FMS.

Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM) – 2012 - 2014

The Post Graduate programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM) aims at strengthening the public policy and managerial skills of future leaders and senior managers from the civil services; and professionals from social, infrastructure and private sectors.

This two year programme helps professionals engaged in public policy and management to tackle new challenges in the context of liberalization, globalization and rapid technology change; and continuing burden of poverty, social exclusion and crisis.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Open and Overseas Candidates

Candidates from other than government sectors should be graduates and ideal profile would be 5 to 7 years of work experience. He/ she should not be aged over 40 years as on June 01, 2012.

Open and Overseas candidates need to take CAT 2011 exam or should have secured GMAT/GRE scores between April 1, 2010 and January 1, 2012.

2. DoPT Sponsored Government Candidates

Group A Officers of All India Services and Central Services are eligible for the IIMB PGPPM subject to the following eligibility conditions.

• Length of Service: The officer should have put in at least 7 years of Group 'A' service.

• Age: The officer should not be more than 50 years on the date of commencement of the programme i.e. June 01, 2012 (53 years in case of officers belonging to Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe and OB Community).

• Earlier Training: The officer should not have under gone training programme of a duration of 12-weeks or more in India or a duration of 2-weeks or more abroad, in the preceding five years.

Ignou announces dates for online courses

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University ( Ignou) New Delhi has announced the admission dates for three of its online programmes on Friday.

These programs are offered under the chair for sustainable development are an appreciation programme on sustainable management of Ganga- a scientific approach (APSMG), a leadership programme on nutrition security and sustainable development (LPNSSD) and a leadership programme on Himalayan ecosystems ( LPHECO). The APSMG course is for a minimum duration of one and half months and can stretch upto eight months. The last date for submission of application forms is October 15, 2011.
