Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following regular courses of this University for the academic year 2008-09.



1. M.Phil in Physical Education - 1 Year.
2. M.Phil in Yoga, Advanced Training & Coaching, Exercise Physiology & Nutrition, Sports Psychology & Sociology, Sports Bio-Mechanics & Kinesiology, Sports Management and Sports Technology. - 1 Year.
3. MBA in Sports Management. - 2 Years.
4. MBA in Sports Technology. – 2 years
5. M.Sc. (Yoga) – 2 years
6. M.Sc. (Sports Coaching) – 2 years
7. M.Sc. (Exercise Physiology and Nutrition). – 2 years
8. M.Sc. (Fitness Management) – 2 years
9. M.Sc. (Sports Psychology and Sociology). – 2 years
10. M Sc.(Sports Bio-Mechanics and Kinesiology ) – 2 years
11. P.G. Diploma in Fitness and Wellness Management, Adapted Physical Education, Applied Statistics in Physical Education, Yoga, Yoga for Fitness and Wellness and Sports Physiotherapy. – 1 year
12. Diploma in Sports Coaching (Similar to NSNIS Programme). – 1 year
13. B.Sc. (Exercise Physiology and Nutrition). – 3 years



Eligibility: For SL. No.1 - M.P.Ed / M.P.E.
For SL. No.2: Master Degree in the concerned subject
For SL. No.3, 4,5: Any Degree
For SL. No.6: Any Degree with Diploma in Coaching
For Sl. No.7: Any Science Degree
For Sl. No.8,9, 10, 11: Any Degree
For Sl. No.12: Any Degree with representation in Sports / Games in State / University
For Sl. No. 13: +2 (Group I or Group II).

Application procedure: Application can be had from the Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in person on payment of Rs.300/- or by post on payment of Rs.350/- and for SC/ST candidates on payment of Rs. 150/- in person or on payment of Rs.200/- by post by means of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, payable at Chennai.
