M.D. Psychiatry: Duration : 3 years (exemption of one year is granted to those who have passed Diploma of 2 years duration in the same subject).
Diploma in Psychological Medicine: Duration - : 2 years.

Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology: Duration:- 3 years for M.A./M.Sc. (Psychology) degree holders and 2 years after M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology / Clinical Psychology.

For M.D. Psychiatry: M.B.B.S. degree of any University recognized by Medical Council of India, with one year rotating internship completed by February, 15, 2011.
For Diploma in Psychological Medicine:
M.B.B.S. degree of any University recognized by Medical Council of India, with one year rotating internship completed by February, 15, 2011.
For Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology: First Class Master’s degree in Psychology regular course Or M.Phil in Medical St Social Psychology / Clinical Psychology of any recognized University, for 3 years and 2 years course respectively.
For M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology: MA./M.Sc. in Psychology regular course of a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.
For M.Phil in Psychology Social Work: MA. in Sociology or Social Work regular course of a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.
For Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing: 'A' Grade Certificate or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. Experience: Two years experience as Staff Nurse.

The application form is to be submitted electronically by internet to CIP website www.cipranchi.nic.in and a hard copy of the same application form printed on A4 size bond paper complete in all respect along with a Demand Draft for Rs.400/- for General candidates and Rs.300/- for SC / ST / OBC candidates (non-refundable) in favour of “Director, CIP, Ranchi”, payable at Ranchi should reach the Director by December 9, 2010.
The hard copy of the application form should be duly signed by the candidate and his / her photograph pasted in the appropriate place.
