The government of Punjab has established NIIFT in Mohali near Chandigarh in 1995 for training of human resources in fashion technology. At present institute offers admission to Diploma and Postgraduate Courses in following areas:

2) Textile Design
3) Fashion Design Knits
4) Fashion Design in Leather Apparels and Accessories
5) Garment Manufacturing Technology
6) Fashion Marketing and Management
Eligibility Criteria
1) Fashion Design – 10+2

Application Procedure
The prospectus can be obtained by hand from selected branches of HDFC Bank on payment of Rs.200/- (the list of selected branches of HDFC Bank is available at the NIIFT website).
The Prospectus can also be obtained from any of the NIIFT Centres by hand for Rs.200/- or by post on payment of Rs.300 by way of demand draft in favor of “NIIFT” payable at Mohali / Chandigarh.
